Hello there my lovely hivers!!!!! I hope you're all doing great today!!!! I'm back again sharing another life event of mine. For today's blog is all going to be our moments with my father's family side.
My father and his brother planned to have this outing as a night swim. As my father prepared for his things to go night swimming, we then joined their trip to experience getting fresh foods from the sea. We were so excited, going to the place where we would put our things up and explore the sea.
We had errands in the morning and even though we were tired, it didn't stop us from joining them. While going to the place, there was a sunset that I couldn't resist taking a picture of even though I got a bad camera. I've been saving money in the past months since I really wanted to buy my dream phone and I hope I could save enough money since it is a little pricey.
We stopped at a store to buy some snacks at the beach. My niece suggested having ice cream even though she didn't eat dinner but still my father bought an ice cream.
As we arrived at the place, there were kids eating their dinner, and the viand of them was kangkong(eater spinach). It was my favorite dish of all time. As I approached them, they looked so shy so I built rapport first to feel them that were so happy to meet them and want to be close.
Before we would get fresh seafood at the sea, we first eat our dinner to have an energy finding the seafood. I was excited thinking that I could really experience something like this since my father won't allow us to join them.
We then headed to the beach, and my niece and I were talking about the seafood we would see later. We were so happy that it was low tide, since it was a perfect time to collect some seafood.
As we were in the middle of the sea, my mother decided to go back to our spot since she felt tired and my nieces accompanied them since it's dark already. Each of us had a flashlight to better see the fish and shrimps in here.
But then, as the time went by I felt tired and didn't see any kind of seafood that made me think to go back but we didn't know our way back. So I continued finding some shrimp when I found one, I was so happy that I finally got one. We were now in the middle of the sea and the sea felt so calm and warm. I wanna lay down here to admire the stars. But there was a snake in here, and that makes me scared. I really wanted to swim but it was low tide.
My legs were swollen, and made me want to go back. But there was part of mine to find more since this was the reason why we came here but it's difficult to find one. I then saw a shrimp and I got it by hand At first I was scared but as I caught the shrimp it bit me. I was really happy to catch it even though it was one shrimp.
As the time went by , we then decided to go back. Going to our place, the sea was mud and it made our slipper go deep and it was so hard to lift it up.
Tadaaa, thankfully we were back at our place, one of the people on here , gave us seafood that he collects from the sea. It was really fresh. My sister and I really wanted to find a swaki (sea urchin) since my classmate said that it was delicious, but we didn't find one.
Luckily my father, found 3 of the sea urchin. I was so happy that I get to taste the sea urchin. These are the fresh seafoods that they get.
