hallo community...
Good morning, community members.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Ika. Today I want to share our morning walk last Sunday, the 12th. Morning walks were part of my agenda with my friends, who are also active in the women's empowerment movement.
We took our morning walks, not only for exercise but also to see the rice fields cultivated by the women and girls we are empowering in gardening and farming.
I felt happy to see the green expanse of rice we planted on dry land. This dry land rice planting is what we call HUMA. While rice is usually planted in paddy fields, HUMA involves planting rice on dry land.
We did this intentionally to give the women and girls more farming skills. While it may not be 100% successful, at least we tried our best.
After seeing and checking the growth and development of the rice plants, my three friends and I took a selfie together before going home with the green expanse and bamboo houses where the farmers spend the night as a backdrop.
Thanks you very much for reading and comment...
