A Life Whitout Electricity [WE110] Weekend-Engagement concept

Hello, Hive account@galenkp's topics this week made me think a lot. They are all good. I hesitated a lot when deciding which one to choose, but "What if you had no electricity" is something I can write about more because I have experienced it before. I grew up in a village and in the winter months, sometimes the electricity would be cut off for 1-2 weeks. At that time I didn't really miss it because I didn't have a cell phone and I didn't have internet. Now things are very different, I spend a lot of time on the internet and on the phone, and if there was no electricity, I wouldn't have them either. Let's talk about it a little bit.

I Would Go Back To My Old Life In The Village

I'm sure it would be extremely difficult at first because as I said I spend most of my time on the phone and the internet, no Instagram, no Twitter, no YouTube. I'm sure I'd be extremely bored and go crazy trying to find something to do. I used to play soccer with my friends every day and I'd probably go back to doing that. And of course table tennis. I have to say I'm pretty good at it and I even have a medal. I looked for your photo a lot but I couldn't find it because that was about 8 years ago.

I Wouldn't Have A Job

I'm a computer engineer and if there were no electricity there would be no such profession and I would be unemployed. My father is currently working as a driver in the village, and I think I would either follow in his footsteps and become a driver or a farmer. I could earn enough money to live on by selling what I grow in the garden in front of our house.

Actually, I also love writing poetry and I could become a poet, but I cannot guarantee that. Because I don't think I have enough poems to publish a book.

I Wouldn't Be Able To Communicate With People

I have met a lot of people thanks to the Internet and the telephone and electricity. This is the same all over the world. I can now find out what is happening in America or Venezuela, the price of a loaf of bread, a natural disaster or global things. Without electricity we would not know anything. In our own little world, I would only know what is happening in my village or in my city and I would have to believe a lot of lies that I hear from people. Maybe people would discover a different way of communicating. If you have an opinion about this, please write it in the comments, I'm curious about it.

There Would Be No Hive!

Maybe this is one of the worst things. There would be no Hive and I would never get to know the good people here, I wouldn't be able to share a lot of things with people and I wouldn't be able to learn a lot of the things I've learned here. I like the information I've learned from reading things that interest me here more than the information I've found by typing how to do this or that on the internet.
