" NEW FOUND PEACE "
Hello Hivers around the world, hoping you had a great day today. For this blog, I just want to share with you what I discovered last Sunday, June 18, 2023, in a new Municipality I live right now Compostela Cebu, Philippines.
Compostela Cebu is a 3rd class municipality located 25 kilometers away from the City of Cebu going to the northern part of the province. Ive transferred to this place eight months ago due to my work and rented a house nearby on my project site.
I only work during weekdays and I have a lot of time on weekends to roam around the place, I don't know why I just recently found out about this amazing scenery on the coastal side of Compostela Cebu. Maybe because Im focusing on my work recently.
Compostela FoodCourt
Thankful I got a little unwind last Sunday and discover this beautiful piece of nature. I visited this area of Compostela around 4:00 to 5:00 pm. This is the area of Compostela foodcourt is located beside the coastal part of the municipality. I have been here to eat dinner and witness already this kind of view, But I've never gone down on the shoreline before until this Sunday.
Why I Went Down?
The reason why I went down is because of the moss growing on the shoreline which makes me curious to see it up close. I want to find out those inviting green colors on the shoreline and look how beautiful they are.
There are also a lot of people roaming on the shoreline and like to see the moss growing. Most of them are children who enjoy their youth with the ocean. I love seeing them enjoying and appreciating nature.
Upon walking on the shoreline, I also found starfish, corals that start to grow and prosper in the area, and some small fishes. It feels amazing to see this on this ocean. I never expect to have this in this bay area actually. And because of it, it thrills me to find out what's more beneath the ocean of Compostela Bay. Maybe we explore it soon.
Meeting New Friends
Say hi to my new friends I bump on the shore. Look how active and how they having fun jumping and running around. Glad that the owner of these cute dogs let me capture their moment. They are so cute to watch.
Also, walking around I witnessed the livelihood of some people of Compostela. How they make a living in Fishing on Compostela Bay.
I remember before when I was a child I used to join fishing with my father in Samar. It is one of our ways to provide food for my family. It is hard but same time satisfying when you bring a lot of fish to your house.
The Best Part
One of the best parts of this place is the view of the ocean. it is like the sky is kissing the sea. An infinite horizon that makes you awe of its view. Plus the beautiful hue during the dusk, Look how beautiful the golden time on this place, uhhhhh it soo satisfying and relaxing.
Indeed, this area will be one of my favorite pastime places in Compostela Cebu. If you like to experience it don't worry It is easy to navigate on Compostela Bay. Just drop by the Compostela Municipal Hall and walk for 3 minutes to Compostela Foodcourt and beside it, you will find this amazing view.
