Before anything else, can I just say unplanned getaways are the best? Who agrees with me? I mean this is not true all the time but at least in my experience, I can say, it works.
Hello, dearest Hivers in this community. This is my first time posting in this community and I am more than excited to share this unplanned trip that turned out to be the best I had with my family and friends.
It was a Sunday morning, and we woke up early and got ready for church. Our church is a little bit far from our house so we need to get going as early as we can because it is a 45-minute drive. When we arrived, we attended the church services and were through at 11:45 in the morning.
Over lunch, we talked about a coffee farm in Tuburan, Cebu. As a coffee lover myself, I was kind of excited to hear this. Gladly, we unanimously agreed to go and pay a visit. Right then and there, we hit the road.
It was a winding road, but because we were with people whom we call family and friends, it became an awesome ride. We were extremely excited, to be honest. The whole trip going there was filled with chit-chat and funny conversations. Time just slipped away and before we knew it, we were already there.
THE PLACE
When we arrived, we were greeted by this aesthetically made entrance. Honestly, it shouted a nature-like vibe because of its green surroundings.
We passed through the entrance and then climbed to a passage that led us to the place where the coffee is made.
This is my brother who is very happy to see the real grinding of coffee beans.
This picture showed my happiness upon seeing how coffee is made for the first time.
And the most exciting part was to have a taste of the coffee. I had 3 cups, to be honest. So can you tell me I'm not a coffee lover?
Coffee with this handsome anytime of the day is a YES for me. 😉
We tasted the coffee and it was a literal from farm to mouth experience. It was superb! The attendants there were nice to just let us consume as many cups as we wished to have.
These empty cups tell the story of one great taste-test adventure. Happy tummy!
Do you ever wonder what a coffee plant looks like?
These seeds when ready, will be harvested, dried then roasted. Amazing right?
Surely, we had an awesome experience going to this coffee farm. We enjoyed everything- from the view, ambiance and of course the FREE COFFEE!
We took th amazing snaps before heading home to remind us of the great time we had.
If you happen to read this far, thanks a lot dear Hivers for your precious time! You are all amazing! Till next adventure. See you around.
