Every woman has her own body goal, and perhaps many are aiming for the 36-24-36 body figure by going to the gym and implementing a strict diet. While others are struggling with shedding pounds, some are just comfortable eating whatever they want and wouldn't care about gaining weight. They just want to eat. Who doesn't, anyway? A woman may want to lose or gain weight for a variety of reasons. Some of them are also health concerns. While many women simply want to stand out in a crowd, others just want to get men's attention.
Some might think I am body conscious, as I can maintain a slim body effortlessly. Unbeknownst to many, I am just one of those who are struggling with gaining weight. At the age of 34, I am only 47.5 Kg, although my BMI says it's pretty normal, I just really want to gain weight.
I was 50 Kg before working abroad and toxic work and lack of sleep, caused my body to shed pounds. I easily lose weight when stressed and lack sleep, but it will take years before I could gain weight again. This is the main issue. This might be good for some, but not for me. My ideal weight is 52 Kg, but it's too hard to achieve it despite eating more than usual. It's not really food that I need to gain weight, there is something wrong with my system that needs to be fixed.
I once read a blog about one of the Hive users here who is also like me, struggling to gain weight. But she discovered something that helped her gain the weight she desired. However, the method isn't appropriate for me since I am not even married and don't have a reason to do a such thing. If you are curious about it, you can check this post of .
If I could miraculously gain weight this weekend, I would be grateful since I am aiming for it. But if there is a part of my body that I want to gain weight, that would be my butt and legs 🙈.
Other women definitely want that slim sexy legs, but not me. We all have different preferences, and my definition of sexy legs is those quite meaty ones (not fat), not slim ones. Moreover, I wanted to have a butt-size proportion to my body, lol. I mean, a meatier one. Well, just to add more shape behind. Whether you believe it or not, oftentimes, I call my body pretty abnormal in shape. I just don't like the too-slim legs.
Another reason is that I want to wear more loose jeans. But imagining myself in loose jeans with slim legs, I feel like they wouldn't fit me. Others probably want it as they could comfortably wear whatever pants they want. But it's quite intimidating when seeing healthy legs, and mine are slim and look unhealthy, lol.
The top reason why I want to gain weight is really to have a stronger and healthier body. I even want a more flexible and masculine one. This year's body goal is to gain weight along with maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and I hope I could make it.
But it's not really a curvy figure that matters to women, it's how we feel and things that could make us happy.
