Childhood
Write about one single thing in your childhood (to the age of fifteen) that you enjoyed and value to this day. What was it and why do you remember it so fondly? This is about your childhood, not someone else's. A post of 300+ words is the minimum requirement and use photos you took yourself if you can.
Back Home
Without a doubt, my relationship with my mom is the root of all relationships, because it is the first human relationship that we all have. That's why they say that family relationships, couples, and other environments derive or are the resonance of the relationship with our mother.
I loved and still have family gatherings engraved in my soul: today the families are the dad, the mom, and maximum two brothers. Before, couples had at least five or seven children, so the families were very large like mine, which there are many of us. In my house, there were always activities and everything was a total party with people of all ages and characteristics. Not only did we have a great time, but, we strengthened the bonds that united us.
Even in my memories, I have recorded the woman (my mother) looking me in the eyes with her archetypal strength of the “Realized Adult” who invited me to establish clear priorities, to integrate my newborn experience of being a woman at the age of 15 into my deepest passions and vocations.
I miss the most everyday things about her, that message at the end of the day, that existentialist conversation, talking about health, nutrition, life stories that she told me every time we had gatherings at 5 pm on the terrace of her house, she is the most beautiful joy and illusion that I received as a child. My favorite toy. My aligned and synchronized travel companion. Accomplice of accomplices. Lover of nature, especially the Sea, my lover of the richest dishes and my dream desserts, and the care of life.
In addition to her pleasure for living and that inveterate optimism that today at 84 years old he still retains, I practice it day by day in my life relationships.
Thank you, Galen, for allowing me to remember what I enjoy and value to this day "the relationship with my first love my mom, I thank this weekend's Commitment for the time to find in the writing topic of WEEK 141, the way back home, my source of love and security that is mom enough reason to continue smiling, honoring her life, hugging her heart very tightly even in her distance.
I continue to enjoy that serenity and confidence learned from his upbringing. I remember her intelligence of integrating their professional fulfillment, passion, and commitment with their home and that even if I lost my way, the resources are always inside me and that I have to trust, give myself time, and persevere to find them again... thanks, Mom.
