A birthday weekend for one of my great loves my DAD you can't imagine how happy and fortunate I feel today, that even in the distance I can celebrate with you another year of life, you are one of my treasures, my pillar, my example, with your great love, humility and work with mommy you took us forward, graduated your children, gave us everything we need and more.

You taught me: honesty, respect, loyalty, commitment, responsibility and generosity, you always encouraged me to continue and your words to encourage me when I fall and go to ground I carry them in my mind and my heart.

I confess that I did not want to spend this important date, far from my parents, brothers, nephews, nieces, hugs, my plans for this year were others... life took care of changing them and as I believe deeply in God, although these days are dark and sad because of the country situation I trust that it is for the best, and that is why today I do not want to be sad and complain about not being able to do what I want, I am grateful and celebrate doing what is possible, to be with my elderly parents even if it is video calls every day.

I always tell my father that he is a star for me. He gave me the best of lessons: how to take care and protect a family, husband and daughters. I love him with all my soul and admire him, and truly you are the BEST DAD in the WORLD, you are my Saint Joseph on earth, I pray to God that you continue to be filled with health, and that wisdom of life that you continue to teach us as you celebrate today another year of your happy 86! Today I embrace you for my brothers and grandchildren from a distance, I LOVE YOU MY BEAUTIFUL DADDY.

My father who is still alive is a very hardworking man, now a retired military man in my country and so many other things more, he definitely taught us what really matters in life, VALUES, principles and that is what today has made us what we are today, his children, men and women of good.

To my dad I wouldn't change a single white hair of his great love, protection, presence and wisdom inherited for all.

Be proud of the great work you have done in us your children, mirror of what you are I am, for me, it is a pride to look like you, hopefully and like you can keep my family together even in the distance.

The restriction of not being able to be with you and mom is only physical, since my spirit and my dreams are freer than ever, even when they are far away I have them tattooed in my soul, today after talking to you and seeing how you blew out the candle I closed my eyes to feel you by my side dad Manuel.
