G'DAY Galen, thank you for this wonderful proposal of the weekend commitment, I feel fascinated because really my mind and spirit have no barriers to travel to that lap of Mother earth so that with her shelter she would protect my whole being, just as Galen does with you who are born and raised there in that great country of Oceania.
When I decided to travel to Australia this January 26, 2024, I did it to feel the same as people born and raised to experience and celebrate the second-best public holiday of the Australian year.
It is known that where there is water there is life... and Australia has paradisiacal beaches, unique animals in the world, I love its cultural diversity, its imposing nature, the passion for sports and the relaxed and carefree mentality polite and calm of the Aussies.
My goddaughter, who lives with her husband and daughter, my lovely Susan, lives in Perth, Western Australia. Her husband works in Carreta Chevron right there in Western Australia, tells me that the people really enjoy being with family, having good relations in the neighborhood well-marked by tolerance for the solid values that its citizens profess. In addition to its excellent wines, and cities with the highest quality of life that make the thousands of kilometers that separate us from my Caribbean to visit it worth it.
Definitely, If I would like to visit it for a weekend Galen, and feel like a citizen in my favorite trio, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, in that country so developed to enjoy its abundant resources, tertiary services for its people that are excellent, for how dynamic they are in financial and tourism education, also for the good sense of humor, which also makes them outstanding in the world, sometimes irreverent and that not all of us understand, lol, but in the end it its own of idiosyncrasy in its citizens... Lol
By the way, I do not know if I would adapt to the bugs, spiders and insects that are rare and large for my taste...or being at the mercy of kangaroos in my garden why are they a protected species...or the need to learn about protecting yourself from devastating fires....but I would like to live there.
I would like to learn to play cricket I have never practiced it Galen, maybe during Australia Day this weekend with you by my side I could learn it, besides sharing a good beer “Stubby” as you call it.
From already at the airport while I'm waiting for my flight, I am already celebrating with you Galen this happy best public holiday of the Australian year, cheers for life.🍻
