Our Local Identity.
With the sun ☀ in its maximum splendor I come to greet you in this community where I write for the first time, you can't imagine how excited I am for allowing myself to be an open page for everyone in The weekend to express myself from the deepest love and respect; and share with stories, experiences, various activities, visits to art galleries and tours in every adventure that I enjoy with my husband and family.
I will always have something to tell you about my weekends; boring, funny, comical, entertaining, interesting, silly or whatever!!!
And it's not that my life is extraordinary, it's just that I make extraordinary moments out of any situation when I go for a walk and enjoy myself.
Last weekend for those unforeseen events of life my beloved and I went out very early, an unusual freshness of the breeze and that only occurs at this time in Maracaibo, the land of the beloved sun.
The name of the city of Maracaibo in indigenous Caribbean voice comes from the brave Cacique Mara with its lake Coquivacoa.
Our sky that makes the perfect canvas for the beloved sun to illuminate and paint with colorful shafts make us unparalleled present with its sunsets. We were surprised with a cool day with lots of Lake Breeze for a walk.
Our beautiful Maracaibo Lake gave way to our gaze, lavish, calm, a magical moment to walk, we did physical relaxation exercises and especially mental. We recharged ourselves with energy and positive thoughts preparing for Monday when the work week begins.
Lake of Maracaibo is the best blessing of nature in Zulia. With an area of 13,000 square kilometers, it ranks 23rd among the great lakes of the world.
After strolling along the Lake sidewalk and admiring the bridge over the lake, an important road artery for our community, looking at its majesty embraced with a woven hat of tenderness and with an inclement Caribbean sun in this eternal summer of ours. It is great!
As it is of supposing we went walking bathed by the rays of the sun to the temple Icon also of our city the Basilica of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá, surrounded by a series of monuments as the lake walk.

All my feelings in an image and it is the way my heart with its laws and its rites, remove the dust of the road in this walk with much joy next to my husband with much fervor and love for our land.
As it is a city marked by oil exploitation, we enjoy the modern and traditional architecture of its colorful traditional houses in its central area that are still standing.
Everything that happens in this landscape is unimaginable and infinitely beautiful to see how the birds (Buchones) fly near the boardwalk and the port looking for something to fish and I wonder at such beauty. And then why were the birds born? If not to be free and fly, I keep this image in my heart.
It became late in the walk, the street began to get lonely and the objects here and there whispered a song with the wind, with the swaying of the marullos in the lake already far away but that's how it should be when we sing to life in the rays of the sun.
On the way back home we could still breathe the lake smell that gives off the lake of Maracaibo inspired by its beauty, its colors, its warmth, its customs, its food and its people.
At the end of this stretch in the great journey of this weekend with my husband we visited Kike's restaurant, in the 72nd more by my insistence, than by his; because I wanted to know it, although he did not know he still wanted to enjoy the recreation a little more before returning to the routine.
It is a pictures place where they make Tequeños (made with wheat flour stuffed with local white cheese) to the embers filled with whatever you want accompanied with natural juice or a soda.
We were surprised by a beautiful red moon with a flirtatious touch of Naples yellow on its temples. As usual walking hand in hand and in the twilight even more.
It was our turn to see it. At least that moon -I said- Certainly that beauty left us speechless. We continued on our way with our autumns in tow on our way home.
At the end of the day, we are lulled by the breeze of love, happy, and thankful with recharged batteries for the routine week; we are planning to visit the Local History and Heritage Museums of Cultural Manifestations in my city next weekend. Life is worth living!

Long my trajectory in these tasks of crossings and adventures every weekend...and short becomes my memory of pampering and stories ,that add and multiply this route of childish and inescapable fantasies in every walk of the little girl who lives inside me that always remembers the encounter with the fish inhabitants of the great lake of Maracaibo.
Thank you all very much. I walk like a "little girl with a new lollipop" with a rebellious and rebellious tenderness to share my walks with you.
