Sunday Molly Break
Maracaibo at night, at dawn, in the morning and in the afternoon lightning flashes. This past weekend was one of heavy rainfall that leaves behind the beautiful musical compositions to inhale with force in a deep sigh loaded with prayer for our humans at risk for overflows and floods as well as power outages.
God grant that these rains are blessings and not another anguish for my human friends who every Sunday come to visit Veronica and that is when Lady hunter comes to share with me.
Sometimes I wish I could talk and shout out that window when they turn off the lights...says Molly when they turn off the electricity again in her house, in her comfort zone next to human Veronica.
Its true Molly says Veronica! As true as putting bananas to ripen at the bottom of a freezer and there were teachers in my time, who taught me to be happy, even though putting bananas to ripen under the freezer was the only option! But when the light goes out there is nothing else to do but to be relaxed.
The light, the shadows and the weather are perfect for capturing moments like this. It's these moments that when you turn your head, watch for movement and barks! A click for the memory of me (Molly) for you who are getting to know me.
Molly loves the weekends at Veronica's side, especially on Sundays to continue to be pampered, queen of all her territory. Plus there's less noise, less risk of accidents in the house... looking at Veronica she says but girl a it's Sunday!
Catching morning treats. It seems that Molly is a hunter of the light at every sunrise from Maracaibo. And that image tells us that everything can be restarted...to be thankful, to forgive ourselves and to move forward. These are hard times from this city and pictures like these make you get inspired and yearn to achieve your daily purpose. Cheers and life! to my human Veronica.
Every Sunday Molly gets together with her great friend Lady Hunter and between meow and meow they talk about the confinement and the 2 years they have at home with their humans thankful every day because they continue to take care of them with so much pampering.
Sometimes I want to watch a movie and I remember that they take away our electricity every day. Molly says to her friend Lady Hunter, "And it goes away! When I decide to escape through the window to get some fresh air, because inside I feel very hot.
Molly, you don't know how I think of you when something blows up. That in your community, adults love to explode fireworks, which hurt your ears so much. I know that your human mommy Veronica has been taking good care of you and will do what is necessary for your peace of mind ♥️
In appreciation for what her friend Lady hunter just told her, she stares at Veronica for a few moments who is also in her Hammock in her Sunday relaxation. How are you humans doing? psst...Are you asleep Vero? asks Molly
Today is a very gray Sunday, lots of rain and Molly doesn't even bat an eye... If the president of the republic, if there are elections or not, if there is no electricity, if with the salary you only buy an onion, if they don't stop Covid... Bah! I just want to be relaxed next to my loving human. Life...live it and be happy..... Bravo Molly ❤*
Molly has an imposing catatality (actuality), with a look that says it all especially when she tries to tell her human how much she wants a snack and I give her one of these...you know...! kind of ones that leave her very happy and satisfied licking her little paws.
Only when the thunder starts because of the heavy Sunday rain Molly stays more quiet than usual waiting for the scare to pass hiding behind the legs of her protective human Veronica who carries her in her arms with love because she knows how her cat friend feels when she hears the thunder.
Please...it's Sunday
Honestly I am hesitant to enjoy 7 lives.... Imagine Lady Hunter! These humans have only one life and those who live around these parts, what they are going through is hard with so many power outages daily and at any hour... and if this is how we go in the other lives I will spend more work.
Who cares Molly who keeps track of the days without electricity and unexpected power outages? I count on you always my friend so let's get on with our break... and focus on all the issues and concerns that affect the environment.
Look at the experience and what we have learned with the Covid19 .This virus kept in captivity the human species which is the biggest predator of the planet, that's why now we feel cooler the face of the earth. And we are fortunate to have our humans who care for us and love us.
Well you are right, another Sunday is coming and we are still here Lady Hunter, I hope to see you next weekend when you come with your human protector....
Please...it's Sunday! I just want to relax! Molly goes back to her bed because she won't move. Do you know why? The light came on and her human turned the TV on full blast and she just wants to sleep.
I wish you a good Sunday; continue taking care of yourselves, praying and firm in our convictions that health; work and justice will prevail over any evil. Molly is very happy next to her human Veronica.
