Complete it “I wish I spent more time doing…”
Currently I have discovered a hobby that I was far from believing I could do, which has become something that I love and want to be doing every minute.
I am referring to crochet, since I was a little girl I used to watch my aunt knit hats; scarves; tablecloths etc.
She taught me some stitches with chopsticks but my interest went no further, eventually I thought I had no talent for something so complicated and I completely forgot about it.
Until last year when I met the "Amirugumis" and the "Trapillo carpets" I started to feel so much desire to create those beautiful cotton yarn animals or the trapillo carpets that I thought about buying materials. Although there is always a but... I didn't have enough money to do it, cotton yarns are expensive, so I forgot about it again.
Months went by dedicating myself only to work, something that I did from Monday to Saturday and that left me exhausted. Although thanks to that job in which I earned good money I was able to start buying materials and start watching tutorials about the crochet world.
Finally I was able to make my first amirugumi, it is quite simple obviously for beginners.
wish I spent more time doing to this and turn it from a hobby into a entrepreneurship. I am now at an intermediate level, which makes me want to continue.
Recently my sister and I joined a group where the artisans of my city meet, I will be able to participate in fairs to sell my creations. I hope this dream comes true.
My currentcreations
I am knitting different things for example:
Trapillo backpacks; amigurumis; flowers; trapillo rugs and I intend to continue.
The last thing I made was this kitten with scarf of 30 centimeters, the stitches are more complicated than the first one I made. Besides, the paws are articulated, I have advanced a lot 😊.
I will soon start making Mother's Day crafts and other amirugumis, which I will share here in some tutorials in other Hive craft communities.
This is my participation for the #weekend-engagement.
