Hello, hello weekend creatives
Once again we meet here, on weekends I have the time to sit down to read, review and write on Hive.
And I don't miss to go through this community that I love and that every weekend gives us commitments to remember or to let our imagination fly.
This time with his questions got me thinking about those weekends I've had throughout my life. Already 40 years hahahah
And I remembered many things but there are two moments that are indelible and I wish to repeat again whenever possible.
One memory from childhood to adulthood.
My father did not live with us, we are three siblings. My brothers, my mom and I lived with my grandmother, and my dad as his family (that was a complex relationship) because my dad only had weekends to come and visit us.
Although he was always very attentive to us, he would call us during the week, the weekends were for walks and to spend time in his company.
Dad would indulge us in many things, today I think it was because of his prolonged absence, when we were with him it was a fun weekend.
He would take us to the park to ride bikes, eat ice cream. Other times to the circus or the zoo. Sometimes he would take us to the beach, those were my favorite trips, because since the day before, my mom and my brothers, we would prepare the food, the bags and the games we would take, that night I did not sleep waiting for the sunrise, my dad would arrive very early, almost dark.
The next morning I was the first one to get up and wake everyone up, of course I had not slept at all hahaha, but I was super excited. I would put on my bathing suit and wait for my dad at the door, he was always very punctual, everyone in the car already, then to sleep until we got to the sea. That was where I slept to recharge my energy for the sunny day.
The day at the beach was the best, being with the family, eating what we had prepared, filling ourselves with sand, playing on the seashore, taking a nap after lunch, under the shade of the umbrella, eating sweets, feeling protected by our parents.
So the day went by, when it was time to go back, we would remove the sand with bottles of sea water and search before getting to the car. Once in the car, we enjoyed the sea and the sunset on the road but tiredness overcame us and we slept until we got home.
Dad left us at home, he said goodbye until next weekend, where we would have other adventures in the park, swimming pool, family visit, going to the movies and other things.
Now dad is not with us for more than 6 years he is in another plane of light, my brothers are out of Venezuela, I am in Venezuela with my mom and my daughter, I try to spend the weekends in rest, enjoy.
When I have the opportunity I like to travel, take my car and go to the beach with my daughter, I love to drive seeing the coast and enjoy the company of my daughter, before I took care of her a lot because she was a little girl, now she is a woman and we take care of each other.
Weekends are unique even the weather changes, around here they say, it's the weekend and the body knows it..... a few days of rest, to break the routine.
See you next creative weekend, until the next idea.
