This is not a post about oral sex.
That "Sucks" I know. But this is a post for the W.E. #weekend-engagement
"Would you do a job that takes you away from home and from your family for 300 days a year?"
A post about jobs. Career choices. Things we do to earn money to pay "the man". Basically we work for our freedom. But they say it is not slavery.
Don't pay your taxes and government protection fees and see what happens.
There have been a few times in my career where I looked in the mirror and my trailer tires were off the ground. Twice from wind. Once from cornering too fast and another from the trucks drive tires sinking in the mud and nearly tipping the entire truck over. The landing gear hit the ground and was the only thing keeping it upright.
When we say our jobs suck. Or we say this working blows donkey dicks. We are not actually talking about oral sex with donkeys. There's a disturbing visual for ya. No donkeys were sexually abused during the making of this post.
I have just spent the last three months selling my old truck and buying a newer truck. I have no words for how badly this process SUCKED.
It was far worse than any wind storm or bad weather I have been in. I will absolutely never undertake this process of selling & buying again. I have a newer truck now. I just arrived back home with it Friday. I posted last about my flight out to Omaha NE. (usa) You can see that HERE
I flew on a plane for only the second time in my life to take possesion of this newer truck. A 2022 Kenworth t680. It is not the truck I wanted. It however is a good truck. Foto-graphical proof --->
I will do a post next weekend about the truck and what I can only describe as the flight from HELL. I will quite literally walk for a week before I ever get on another "coach" or "economy" flight.
Maybe a first class ticket that someone else pays for would be the only way I would ever consider doing it again. The ride on that plane both sucked and blew donkey dicks.
Another thing that really blows is being away from my Sammi Jo Kitty.
I will be hitting the road again this week after Licensing & Legal approval. The overnighting of my Plate and Permits. And you can bet your ass this little co-pilot kitty of mine will be along for the ride. Not having her with me on that trip to hell and back was quite possibly the worst thing about it. It was the longest I have ever been apart from my best friend. 36 hours being the previous. 101 hours (4+ days) this last week. She was not a happy cat. But when I arrived home this is what I found. Sammi Jo waiting at the door.
Thanks for RIDING Blowing along like a Tumble Weed with Ol' Krazzy this week and every week here on the 300th edition of the W.E.
