For many years of my life, after becoming independent while I was living in the capital, I never celebrated my birthday, I thought and still think that the people who truly love you or simply feel a great appreciation for you, will remember your birthday, but that part of my life is another story.
Since I met my wife in college in 1999, and we have somehow been together, which I celebrate every day of my life, she has always celebrated my birthday, often planning to share with those few friends or to celebrate us as a couple on a weekend trip.
She every year plans my birthday, and from the moment she has been so special to celebrate my birthday, I started to do the same, but to celebrate her birthday, I always surprise her with very basic things that she likes, I am also very lucky because she is not demanding at all, and what she likes the most on that date is that I remember her birthday.
But today, August 5th, is my youngest daughter's birthday, my princess Sofia Isabella, it is thirteen years when she has filled our lives with pure happiness, since my first daughter was born and then my second daughter, we have always celebrated her birthdays.
During the first 5 years of each one, we would prepare a party for her to share with her friends, but with a big difference, I will explain, it is well known that when they celebrate a birthday in my country, the party is directed to the guests.
My wife and I change that, yes I accept that we must attend to the guests, but above all we always focus on the needs of the birthday girl, in this case my daughters, but you may wonder how, because very simple for example, we know the tastes of them therefore if we make the cake we make the flavor that she likes.
We do our best to make their birthday unique, so they can enjoy that day.
Then, as they got older, my daughters would make a birthday gift request, and in most cases it was, and still is, a special plate of a big breakfast, take them out to eat somewhere they like, or just ask my wife to make that special lunch they like so much, in short they are not at all picky about material things, they just ask that day to eat the things they like the most.
Today my daughter, who has a birthday, will have breakfast like a princess and a big lunch like a queen.
Of course, she will also have some gifts for personal use, she is already at that age where she takes care of her skin and likes to use some Splash with flower scents or with very sweet smells that make a good match with the pH of my daughter's skin, they are simple things.
At the time of writing this post, Saturday 05/08/2023 the day is just beginning, it is 12:17 AM. I'm sure my wife and I will make this a super special day for my daughter on her thirteenth (13th) birthday.

In a few words or in many words, thanks to my wife I learned to celebrate my birthday, but also my wife's birthday and my daughters' birthdays.
Just dedicate yourself to be happy in every second. To be happy you just have to make your own decision.
