Upon reading this suggestion, my face underwent a metamorphosis; I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. It was time to vent on this topic via Hive.But there was also instability in the 1990s and 2001. To this day, we continue to experience a major electricity crisis, which many people call sabotage, especially those who support the current government, who find countless excuses to cover up the negligence and lack of resources in this situation. Many producers and entrepreneurs have lost their businesses, while others continue to suffer the consequences to this day.
There was a time when we spent days in darkness, and the government claimed that there hadn't been any electricity before—such a shocking, such an empty response.
We got used to it since Cuba was doing the same thing, and well, that's the summer's fault. They told us, as business owners, to buy generators. Many know how expensive that is.
These days, they cut off our electricity for seven hours; on the best days, it's five.
When that happens, I try to get out of my house as fast as I can. I go to a shopping mall and keep an eye on the community group chat for an announcement that the power is back on so I can return home.
Imagine for a moment having an elderly person connected to a nebulizer, a baby, having to keep vaccines refrigerated, a business that depends on electricity, refrigerated meat, or simply the physical and mental health of the inhabitants of an entire country. It's not easy. I can go out, but some have no choice but to wait for electricity every day. The consolation is that they don't cut it off in the middle of the night; we've gotten used to making excuses. The worst part is that if we go out to demand our rights, they can take us to jail. They claim we're government saboteurs
