Hello dear users! I'm convinced that weekends are essential. I'm sure some use them to rest, others to unwind from work and the week's fatigue, and still others take advantage of the time to catch up on everything they need to, or even visit family.
Weekends are good for many things.
This weekend I'll be visiting the Hogar Hispano recreational and family center. This Saturday, a very dear artist, Soledad Bravo, will be performing. She's coming to my city, and I'm very excited to spend Saturday night with her and her music. In the 80s, her music was a constant companion during some intense moments of my teenage years.
I can remember those wonderful moments as if they were yesterday, when dancing was my only concern, ha, ha, ha.
I'm already talking like a grown woman, almost reaching premature old age.
Those were truly delightful times, endless outings, parties with friends and family where we sang these songs until dawn.
I don't have any recent pictures of this lady, but I'll definitely bring the evidence of this great show tomorrow.
On Sunday we'll be celebrating Mother's Day, as we do every year in our beautiful country of Venezuela. I'll be with my mother, who is 77 years old. I tell her I'm almost as old as her, since she had me when she was very young—she was only 16. Anyway, here I am, happy and grateful to be her daughter.
A huge hug to all the mothers of the world!
