Family Saturday visiting a place from my childhood

Hello friends of hive and Weekend Experience,community today I'm happy to be here, because little by little I'm getting to know many more amazing communities.

This post is a memory of which I had never mentioned; it was a Saturday, about a year ago, and it was my sister's birthday, that day as on many other occasions, we were undecided about the place we wanted to go; But suddenly we remembered the inauguration of a very well-known park in the city where I live, it is commonly known as "Metropolitan Park", but its real name is "Monsignor Alejandro Fernandez" this place has existed for many years, since I was very young I have memories of visiting it; but over time it became a den for street dwellers, and people with drug addiction problems.

So, at that time it became an abandoned place, because everyone was afraid to frequent that space; luckily the country has been able to lift a little in many social and economic areas and this allowed them to remodel and recover the aforementioned natural space; here they recovered the different soccer fields, basketball, volleyball, skateboarding, playground and it is also very spacious, you can even jog or ride a bike.

What I liked most, is that everything is painted with bright colors, and there is also a variety of food sales, ice cream, a little bit of everything. The area is also a refuge for birds, I could see a group of green parakeets and a parrot.

Another thing I noticed is that there were many people with their pets walking around the place, I was amazed by the many different breeds of dogs. On the other hand, they were still remodeling the pools that existed there and an archery range, I hope they have already finished it so I can visit them.

This place is very big, it has approximately 17 hectares, which are full of trees. There are also some small houses with some cement tables and chairs, which can be used to celebrate a birthday, or to share; as I had mentioned initially, it was my sister's birthday and we brought a cake to sing the birthday and continue enjoying together.

Sincerely it is a total joy that they have taken the initiative to recover this green area, because like me, we are many Tachirenses who grew up sharing in that place and that also helps the avian fauna and to be a free space for pets; and also, that they can boost the sport, such as swimming and archery, since years ago they have been able to lend the different places for the sports development for our country.
