Push, push, small small, breath-inn(inhale) and pushhhhh. Don't shout. Instead, open your mouth widely, breath through it. The head is coming out. Oya, this time, push harder. Now, let's goooooo. Hold the two irons and pushhhhh. Thank God, the baby is hereeeee.
While beside the labour room in Odiche hospital, my sister and friend was in labor and had entered the labour room to deliver her baby. It's her first baby. Immediately she entered the room, I was filled with fear because, it's a journey of life and death( My fellow women will understand). Therefore, at a point I asked myself, why are you panicking? Is this the right thing to do? Better change your view and thinking. Be positive. Do what is required of you now.
With that, I engaged myself into praying. For over 20 minutes, I didn't perceive anything either of noise or whatever. That made me uncomfortable 😣. I even forgot that am communicating with God. The only thing I did was to listen attentively if I can hear or perceive anything, especially her voice.
After a while, I heard, it's time! You will soon have your baby. Be strong and courageous!!
That gave me more reason to commence with my prayers for her. Honestly, I prayed like a ..... person (complete the sentence) Hehe
Ten more minutes, I heard what sounds like that of a newborn baby. I paused. Listens very carefully to know if the sound is correct. Yessssss, the baby started crying 😭 on top of his voice. I felt pity for him.
Eheh, the baby have arrive. What about the mother? She is even more important to me. I kept on walking despondently beside the labour room when a nurse came out from the room. I rushed her and asked, please how is her condition? any problem? Tell me the truth. Don't hide anything from me.
She started laughing at me. With that, my veins calmed though she haven't utter any word. Then, she said, She's ok and healthy. Just that we're cleaning them up. Wow, am glad. Joy and happiness occupied my heart. I jumped up and down as If I won US lottery.
20 minutes later, they brought out the baby. Look and behold, it's a baby boy. The worst is that I went to the hospital without my smart phone. But, nevertheless, I managed to snap some copies with another person's phone.
The baby's names according to the father are Jason Enyinnaya Samuel Nwokeafor. Enyinnaya means father's friend or father's favorite. It's a local name.
Thank God both the baby and mother are all healthy and bouncing in good health. The mother is resting that's why I didn't capture her. But, permit me to drop my last selfie with his parents before now.
It's like I've used the picture earlier in one of my posts in this community, Yet, permit me to make a second use of it just to show you guys who the parents are. (Though, not too sure)
Baby Jason was born on the 29th day of January 2023, just last week Sunday.
Do you know!!, the parents wedded on the 29th day of January 2022 and gave birth to their baby Jason on the 29 day of January this year. It's so remarkable!!!. Let's celebrate with them. Their one year marriage celebration came with a new baby. The things they planned to use for their one year marriage celebration are things they're now using to entertain their visitors. That's awesome 👍. l really love that. What a blessing from the giver of life and it's sustainer.
- Thanks dear friends for celebrating with Mr and Mrs Nwokeafor on this day. I pray that all those seeking for the fruit of the womb, after reading and commenting in this post will definitely get one.
