¿How was your Holy Week? Mine was very good, better than I expected and had planned, at this time people usually go out and take a short vacation, usually to the beach or pool, for my part, I have spent Easter at home for 4 years without doing anything special, but this year I decided to do something different, I really wanted to go out, there were many options of tourist places to visit, but clearly I could only go to one, well, without hesitation I chose the best place, one stay on the outskirts of the city that I have wanted to visit for a long time, I only know them through social networks and whenever I see the photographs of that beautiful place my desire to know it grows more and more, this seemed the perfect opportunity to visit it and without thinking twice I planned with the family to go on Friday, without knowing what would happen, do you want to know what happened? Well, I invite you to stay until the end.
After getting good information through social networks about this place to visit, we decided that this would be our destination. On Friday morning we got ready to leave, we were 6 people, so we were in 2 cars, my partner and I were in ours and we were going ahead to guide me since I was using Google maps along the way to know the location, however, on the way it didn't load very well and I thought it was the signal, so we decided to stop at a shopping center that was on the way to be able to load the location well and in turn take advantage of buying some things that were needed for the trip.
The location still didn't load, so I located the ranch's contact number on social media and wrote to them asking them to send me their location because I was on my way and didn't know how to get there, to which they replied with their address and contact information. interest such as the cost of the entrance and all the activities that I could do in that place, after this we continued with our trip.
We returned to the road and after about 10 or 15 minutes of walking we were far from everything, there was nothing but road and green landscapes, at this point I had completely lost the signal but before that I managed to locate some videos that indicated how to get there to the ranch and with that and some signs along the way we managed to locate ourselves better.
As we advanced, land, farms, stables began to be seen along the way, and we even passed a river, as well as many checkpoints and police posts that were working for Holy Week. There were not many places that were seen, but it was beginning to be noticed that more inhabited, however, we still had a long way to go, we had not yet reached the main sign that we had been seeing in the video.
After approximately 30 minutes of travel we finally saw the main sign and that meant that we were on the right track, but nevertheless, there was still much more to go but at that time we did not know it, in the same way we continued advancing and after passing this sign we entered a very bad road full of holes and much of it was dirt.
The most exciting moment of the trip was when we finally saw the entrance of the place in the distance and as soon as we got closer I could not contain our emotion, however, there were other cars waiting and a worker approached one of them and we knew that something was wrong. when he started to make signs of denial, then the worker came to our car and told us that there was no room, they were full since before 7 in the morning, to which I complained saying that I had spoken since the day before and even when I was on my way and at no time did they notify me that they no longer had a place on the contrary, they told me how to get there, making me believe that they would receive me, the worker apologized and told us that we could return the next day but very early in the morning yes we wanted a place, but the truth is that with how far this is plus all the bad attention we did not want to return and less after having lost a whole trip and our Easter Friday, we had no more options I decided to return home, but since I didn't want to miss the trip, as soon as I had a signal on my cell phone, I started calling other ranches and inns to spend the day, despite my insistence I was unsuccessful, everything was full and there was no there was no way they would receive us that day and much less at that time.
On the way back we thought of going through the city zoo, it was better than going home and spending that day boring, so we stopped at the park where we spent the rest of the afternoon walking and seeing animals, clearly not It was the same, I wanted to be in some tourist place, in a pool or beach enjoying that day but really our new destination was good, we had a great time and we really enjoyed visiting the park, it was also recently reopened and since I had not been there since I was a girl I was very surprised by how cute it was, of course I took many photos and videos but this story is for another post.
Anyway, this was the story of my failed Easter trip, if it wasn't for the zoo I would have lost that day doing nothing, we still enjoyed it and I'm anxious to share the photos and videos of the zoo, so in a I will tell you a new post, thanks for reading, I hope everyone has enjoyed their Holy Week to the fullest and has not had problems like mine, see you in a next post.
