Hello, my beautiful people. I'm joining 's initiative for the weekend. I love this question and decided to expand on the topic. What event in your life would you say had the most profound effect on how you? Explain.
I really loved this question. Because it immediately brought to mind a very significant event in my life, one that had a huge impact on my life. That event was becoming a single mother, and without help from my daughter's father, I was able to move forward. That event marked a before and after in my life. I had to be resilient in order to move forward and leave behind many of the things I had set as goals, but my life took a 360-degree turn.
It wasn't easy to leave behind my medical studies. Before getting pregnant, I had set a goal of graduating. This wasn't the case. Becoming a mother meant I had to dedicate myself to my daughter and postpone my plans. Because of all the aforementioned reasons, I had to create a plan B where my daughter came first. I had to stop studying and get a job. I was able to work during the first few months of pregnancy. By the seventh month, I had to stop working and started working from home. I made yogurt in different flavors and had a large clientele. I returned to my mother's house and there I had help from my sisters and, of course, my mother.
I became a resilient being because my attention was focused on my daughter, and I couldn't return to my studies. I went through many difficulties, hardships, falling and getting up, shaking myself off, and continuing to struggle. Most importantly, I managed to move forward. It wasn't easy, but I did it. Many years have passed since that event that radically changed my life. I love my daughter above all else; she values me as a mother; we are very close. It was worth it; I have a before and after image of her birth.
