Hello, my beautiful people. I'm joining 's initiative this weekend. I love this question and decided to expand on the topic: What do you love about your city/town and what do you hate/dislike? Explain in both cases.
I love my city's gastronomy, its beaches, and its people, all with their distinctive slang. As for gastronomy, I'm fascinated by seafood, such as shrimp, fish, octopus, pumpkin seeds, squid, and more. I live in the eastern part of Venezuela. It's a coastal area, and our cuisine is based on seafood. I also love the local sweets in my city, such as papaya jam, majarete, and coconut rice, among others.
My city is Cumaná, located in the northeastern region of Venezuela, in the state of Sucre, a land of fishermen, surrounded by many beaches and a beautiful tropical paradise called Mochima National Park, located in the state where I live. This park is a beautiful ecosystem, with beautiful seascapes and exotic mountains. The beach sand is very white and light. It's made up of several islets, and visiting each one takes time to fully enjoy its charms. It is beautiful to see the dolphin parade that is always observed in this national park.
What don't I like about my city/town? I don't like its leaders, because they haven't helped promote tourism in my city. The streets and avenues are very neglected, the streets and avenues are broken, with potholes that the national government doesn't fix. Trash everywhere. I don't like seeing hungry people rummaging through the trash to get real food. It saddens me, and I don't like it. Many people are homeless. With faith in God, this will pass, and our city will be in better condition.
