Hello, hello my friends, I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your weekend, recharging your batteries for a new week. Today I want to share my participation in the Weekend-Engagement topics, proposed by my friend . He asks us to answer some questions, always interesting and thought-provoking. For this weekend, I chose question 2- What do you have for breakfast and why? Explain and show us, and I'm going to show you all what we usually have for breakfast at home. Let's get started.
In Venezuela, the most popular breakfast food is arepas. For as long as I can remember, my breakfasts have consisted of these wonderful arepas. Arepas are made with corn flour, shaped into rounds, and can be grilled or fried. I often add vegetables, like bell peppers or carrots, to make them more nutritious. You can have them with whatever you like: fried or scrambled eggs, meat, chicken, or fish. At home, we say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. With a good breakfast, you have the energy you need to face the rest of the day. When I worked in an office, I didn't have time to eat breakfast at home, so I would take my stuffed arepa and my black coffee with me. That's also a must in the mornings; it guarantees I feel good for the rest of the morning and can accomplish my tasks.
At home, we all love these wonderful and delicious arepas. Everyone eats their arepa their own way. Today, breakfast was arepas with eggs, cheese, and ham. For my little daughter, I made scrambled eggs with ham. I preferred everything separate, and we enjoyed our feast this morning. Of course, we filled our arepas, and it's wonderful. Eating arepas for breakfast is like a tradition; you grow up with this food on your table, and of course, you learn to love it, haha. I think I could eat arepas any time of day, and it would be fine. In fact, when I'm running late to make breakfast, I opt to buy a filled arepa. There are many places that sell these breakfasts. This is my favorite breakfast because I love arepas, and starting the day savoring this delicacy with a good cup of black coffee is the best part of my day. And as I said at the beginning, I feel energized to face the rest of the day.
Now, I'm saying goodbye, my friends. I'm so happy to share this favorite part of my daily routine with you all, haha. Breakfast is sacred in our family. See you next time, blessings.
