It was an exciting Saturday for me as I had planned a beach outing with my friends. I woke up early at around 6 AM, much before my alarm went off. I was feeling quite fresh and not comparable after a good night's sleep. After freshening up, I went straight to the kitchen to prepare a healthy breakfast for myself - some oats, banana and a glass of milk. Eating a nourishing breakfast gave me the energy to start my day on a positive note.
By 7:30 AM I was ready to leave for the beach. My friends Raaha, Nazi and Suhaila soon arrived and we ordered for a ride. The drive to the beach took us about 30 minutes. We played our favorite songs and sang along merrily throughout. The weather was amazing with the sun shining brightly and a cool breeze.
We reached the beach by 8:15 AM and occupied a nice spot close to the waves. The beach was quite clean and not too crowded as it was a little early. We lay down our mats and relaxed while taking in the splendid views. The girls decided to hit the waves first while I chose to laze around a bit more. After an hour, we all went for swimming together. We splashed and played like kids, enjoying every bit of the swim.
Post the swimming, we played some beach volleyball which was an amazing experience. After building up an appetite through the activities, we took out the snacks and fruits we had carried and sat down to eat. The breakfast was simple but tasted great in that setting. We spent the entire morning at the beach, clicking lots of selfies and making memories.
By noon, we decided to grab an early lunch at a beach shack before heading back home. We ate some delicious local seafood and were quite satisfied with our beach trip. I dropped my friends back by 3 PM before returning home. I was quite tired after the active day but thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with my best buddies. A day well spent at the beach rejuvenated my mind and body completely. I hit the bed early that night and had a peaceful sleep after the Saturday well spent.
