Where is the cool place to be? All the N hemisphere people are burning their ashes and sweating their balls off.
The best place to be right now is down under a g-dog's place. Most of you know about g-dog's ranch and his swimming pool, but he seldom talks about the yacht he has parked on the pier in back of the house. My dawg is modest.
Anyway a few of us who made it big on Hive have decided to charter a private jet to G-dog's crib. It's not like a Hive fest or anything. We just want to have a good time and G-dog's place rocks.
There is a pool table and a full bar in the basement along with stereo sound. We wound be needing that because g-dog has a collection of classical rock instruments 🎸. We plan to rock the house. My Korean buddies will jam until the dingoes howl. Then we know the night is young and it's pool party all the way.
For some who like it a little more calm there is a beach volleyball set in his yard. After a few matches we start a bon fire in his yard. What's that he has an outdoor Italian pizza oven. This is great as some our crew just came in from America the day before a couple others just flew in from Europe and they all agreed a Neapolitan pizza would hit the spot. G-dog had all the ingredients we needed and baking hot oven to cook that pizza just right.
G-dog read my mind and brought out some craft beer to match the pizza. I don't drink much but I'm a kimchi guy and the fermentation hit the spot.
Most of us ended up falling asleep on the sand. It was the perfect evening. I am usually a sensitive sleeper but I slept like a baby. I woke up to the beautiful July sun of the southern hemisphere. It wasn't blazing and huge but it was just enough to warm me up for a new day.
You would not believe the coffee g-dog brewed for that morning. It was a Vietnamese coffee with just enough punch to get us all up and onto the surf. The day went by to quick and before we knew it we were back at work in Seoul on Monday morning longing for that Vietnamese coffee. The events of the weekend were mostly a blur but I remember my American friends complaining,
"Why do we have to go to work on the Fourth of July?"
My Dawg fixed that. He picked us up in his yacht after work today and we are cruising.
