Life has put me into such a phase that now I know 100 ways to save some bucks that don't put pressure on the wallet, mostly when the wallet itself is empty. Well, it's a shame that the wallet ran out of money, but these teach the great lessons of life that I might have missed with a filled one. Now all I need is to keep these learnings with me forever so I don't end up burning my wallet doing unnecessary stuff that puts me back into emptiness.
Most of us learn our lessons the hard way, so did I. In the past, I was so lazy that if I had to buy something that might be 1km from my place, I would use a rickshaw to get there and return. There were many cases that I might need something that costs 50 cents, and I paid the rickshaw puller another 50 cents to go there and return. This was in the past; what about now? For my daily office, I need to walk to the bus station from my home, then after getting off the bus, I need to walk again to my office; in total, it exceeds 1 km. So daily, I need to walk almost 2 km to go to the office and to return home, even after using local buses as my daily transportation.
"ᵂᵒʳᵈˢ ᵃⁿᵈ ᵖⁱᶜˢ ᵃʳᵉ ᵐⁱⁿᵉ, ᵘⁿˡᵉˢˢ ᴵ ˢʰᵒᵘᵗᵒᵘᵗ ʷʰᵉʳᵉ ᵗʰᵉʸ ᶜᵃᵐᵉ ᶠʳᵒᵐ!"
Another lesson is not to fall for the social media advertisements or anything that seems very tempting. This one is pretty bad and very irresistible; my success rate in this is not yet satisfactory, and I fall for many unnecessary things. However, my minimalistic mindset is kinda helping me in this. Keeping this one checked kinda helps me save a lot, trust me, a lottttttt.
Also, getting things in bulk kinda helps me save some bucks. Obviously, the most needed stuff that doesn't get rotten. Also, keep an eye on discounts or offers. Oftentimes, there are offers at the supermarkets, and being picky with only the necessary stuff sometimes helps me to save a lot. Also, I do source most of the food-related items or so from my hometown, where things are a little bit cheaper than in the capital, where I do live.
To be honest, we all have our own lifestyles, preferences, and choices to live in. The expenses should always be as per our income; without looking into the incoming amount, we can't adjust the expenses for our lifestyle. Obviously, lots of things that I'm doing now to save some bucks will fade away with time. I might be aiming for some comfort, going for some better stuff, and getting happy with the tempting items, only when I am able to afford them at ease. We all will, that's what we call living standards. What I'm doing is called surviving, I don't want that always, I want to live, have things to live better, hopefully those days are not very far.
Keep me in your prayers,
Have a great day,
Take Care!
