Sunday is one of the best days of the week, or shall I say the best day of the entire week. As working parents, giving ample time to our children is the key to maintaining affection, love, and security. My daughter's grandmother invited us to spend time with them because she badly missed her.
In the morning, my parents prepared food to bring to the sea. My observation about eating to the sea is, bringing your appetite up until leftovers.
👣ON THE WAY...
Departed at 7 in the morning.
Father informed us already that the sea is low tide, which would allow us to cross over the sea. Father's boat was damaged because children played with it without even asking permission from him. We walked in with the food for breakfast.
🍜🍲BREAKFAST TIME...
When we reached the designated place, my father got some sea urchins as additional viand for breakfast. Because it's already past 8 in the morning, partake in the sumptuous food my parents prepared.
🏝️HAPPENING AT THE SEA...
As I was strolling the long way caused by the low tide, I got pieces of seashells and (lukot)- like a green and brown noodle and, has been said that they're secretions of a sea slug. However, others would say it comes from a plant from the sea.
A long time ago, usually, if we don't have any viand at home, we go to the sea to get some seashells, sea urchins and lukot. My father would use his boat to catch some fish. We're lucky if we can get a lot. It can save the budget for viand in a day.
My husband and I had some side conversations with our baby. Some random questions and thought about life and the like. Suddenly my eyes focused on one of the best sceneries portraying "love."
My heart leaped for joy when I saw this man helping his dog take a bath. This world could have been a safe place for all of them if people knew how to value animals.
The other children enjoyed as well playing in the sea. I encourage my child to join them but sad to say is not used to being with people she doesn't even know. In reality, at her age should get to know some kids to socialize and learn from them. I am hoping after the pandemic.
🛤️💒GOING HOME...
We enjoyed the glassy sea before going home. Do you know what made me a bit sad? Well, my hair is prohibited wet because it's rebonded.😂 It does not matter. My daughter paddled in the water and showed a grin expressing bliss and leisure.
Spending quality time with my family is the best experience I can give on Sundays.
Finally, go home at 10 in the morning because it's getting hot already.
Who among you here has tried getting lukot and seashells?
Your comment is much appreciated.
