Happy weekend end everyone.
I've been visited the miraculous San Francisco Javier in Hanginan Maasin ,City back 2014.I was still single that time and today ,I visited again but this time with my husband family.
San Francisco Javier can be found at Hanginan Maasin ,City in Southern Leyte ,Philippines.
It's is one of the most visited chapel in the region ,many devotees visited for the petitions and prayers.It is most visited especially during the holy week.
Back then we only walk going to the chapel that is place in the top of the mountain.It can be walk for more than two hours depends on how fast you can walk.But we,with my work mates we walked it for two hours.We visited the said chapel during at night which many devotees are walking with us coz it's holy week that time.
Many believes that it's their way of sacrificed.
And now ,it's more easier to visit as it's passable with any vehicles although we still need to walk with the high stairs but not the same as before that we need to walk for two or more hours.
We wake up early this morning to prepare the chapel visit with our family ,we rented a van so we can't find struggle on waiting a vehicle coz we don't have our own van hihi.
Around 6:30 leave the house ,but supposedly we planned that by 5:30 am we leave the house but you know Filipino haha always late.
Anyway,I feel worried fro my son coz everytime we travel ,he vomits good thing that by this time he didn't vomits.He doesn't like the smell of the air-conditioned van.
Around 7 we arrived at our destination and started to walk the high stairs.
We arrived at the chapel around 7:30 in the morning.We only try to walk slowly but safely.
We can passed different stalls selling food ,selling delicasies like bibingka and some souvenirs items like tshirts ,bracelets ,towels ,fan and etc.
But I was'nt able to take some photos as I keep my eyes on my kids.I only have a few photos while walking going to the chapel.
I feel happy when we arrived at the chapel knowing that the mass just get started.We able to attend the holy mass.
After the holy mass,we lighted a candle and did the tradition kiss of statue.
After that we took some groupies before going down to have our breakfast.
For our breakfast ,I bring some rice and viand as I know that food are expensive since it's far from the town.
But still we buy some of their food and spent $25 for the whole family.
We choose an eatery with a nice view.
Around 9:30 we go home ,it was a tiring travel but it's worth it.
And that's it for our #weekendexperinces,it may a tiring trip but I feel happy and blessed for this trip with the family.
