Hello friends of the Weekend-engagement community, happy start to the week with only a few days left until Christmas and the end of the year. Everything has been very busy in my city, full of decorations, lights, and lots of family gifts. I've been going out a bit more because I wasn't doing so for health reasons. I always justified it to myself for some reason, but I realised that you never really know how long you'll be in this world, so it's better to enjoy it with your loved ones and with who you are right now.
List three things you're going to do better in 2026 that will improve the year over what you achieved in 2025 and explain.
- Learning to live in the present.
This is the first thing I want to start improving in 2026. I am always thinking too much about either the past or the future, so living each moment as best I can with the tools I have will allow me to feel more peaceful and fulfilled. I have always lived more in the future than in what is visible today. I want to be able to enjoy my surroundings and the person I am and want to become, without forcing myself to meet standards that simply do not make life a place where I can live fully with those thoughts.
- Improve my physical and emotional condition.
This is a topic I have already touched on here at Hive. I have always been a fairly sedentary person due to health issues. I do not do any sport or exercise that allows me to improve my weight and physical condition. I also know that I should do more practical exercises that connect me with my emotional stability, because both things are intertwined. After Christmas, I would like to search the internet for a beginner's exercise routine that I can do without hurting my knee, which was operated on some time ago.
- Recognise my time and efforts.
I often take everything I do for granted. Perhaps I could do more, but I know that I always give my best even when I don't feel motivated to do things. I know it's a matter of being more disciplined and that every goal, both short and long term, requires effort that will be achieved in my own time and not by looking at other people's watches. It's something that has been a little difficult for me to accept, but everyone's life is different and everyone knows when or how much they can achieve, without losing confidence in myself and in what I can achieve in 2026.
I hope you liked this post, and I would also like you to leave me your comments; I will gladly read them and will respond to them. Big hugs. 🤗
