I planned to have a slow, productive Sunday.
What I got was a full-on “adulting” comedy show.
It started simple. I was going to deep clean, do laundry, and meal prep for the week.

Step 1: The Bathroom “Music Show”
I decided to scrub the bathroom first. Somehow, scrubbing tile turns into singing at full volume.
The acoustics are unmatched. If my neighbors didn’t hear me, they’re lying.
Step 2: Kitchen War Zone
After the bathroom, I moved to the sink. The dishes were… a situation.
Soap everywhere, scrubber doing overtime. I swear the sink judges me every time.
Step 3: Self-Care That Actually Happened
Between the chaos, I remembered I need to be a human too.
Fresh toothbrush, Nivea lotion, and deodorant because cleaning is sweaty work.
Step 4: Meal Prep Reality Check
I tried to blend pepper and onions for stew. The blender fought back.
Now I’ve got pepper in my eyes and onions in my soul.
But at least the sauce is ready for the week.
Step 5: The Reward – Spaghetti That Saved My Weekend
After all that cleaning, scrubbing, and fighting with the blender, I was starving.
This was my “you deserve this” meal.
Simple spaghetti, spicy pepper sauce, and a bit of fish. Nothing fancy, but after a chaotic Saturday,
it tasted like a 5-star restaurant meal.
Sometimes the best part of a “weekend reset” isn’t the cleaning…
it’s sitting down to enjoy the food you made with your own two hands.
Weekend done right ✅ Mess cleaned, sauce made, belly full.
