During weekdays, I usually wake up at 6 in the morning, say a prayer, fix the bed, cook for breakfast, water the plants, and clean the house from dust and falling leaves before taking a bath. Around 7, I usually eat my breakfast, wash the dishes, and get ready for school. And then at 5:30 in the afternoon, I arrive home. I re-cook what was left for breakfast, eat dinner, and spend the rest of the night with the bring-home paperwork, browsing the net until I get sleepy.
Sir 's weekend engagement topic is...
Are you physically active on the weekend or do you prefer a sedentary weekend lifestyle? Explain and give examples.
Here are my thoughts.
During weekends, specifically on Saturdays, I usually wake up at 7:30 or 8:00 in the morning. I start the day by fixing the bed, rearranging things in my room, and cleaning the house - a warm-up for a productive day!
If I am in the mood, I cook for my late breakfast. Meanwhile, I have to water my plants.
Then, I spend time visiting my small garden in the backyard, examining how the veggies are growing.
After, I ready my worn clothes for the entire week and my uniform for washing. But before I indulge myself in washing which for me is a little stressful, I have to eat breakfast and enjoy my coffee for a couple of minutes on my house's terrace.
Looking at this view, I have come to think about things - things that matter in life - making a life on my own; surviving several nights alone; being at my best independent self. I couldn't be thankful enough. I feel blessed, loved, and favored. But before I get drowned in these happy thoughts, I had to start doing the laundry. With so much muscle force exerted on it, this is what "physically active" means to me.☺️
But since doing these weekend tasks is a struggle for me, I see to it I have something to pamper myself afterward, and that is food.
As for me, being physically active doesn't only mean engaging myself in adventures and extremes. By simply moving and getting things done, I'm good. I am not the person who stays in bed all day if there's no work. My system gets used to doing things one at a time. Aside from that, weekend is family day - that means I have to go home to see my parents!❤️
At 10 in the morning or so, I had to prepare to leave the house. This is my way, leaving and coming home every day. Free exercise!
Now, I am excited to go home to my Mama and my Papa. I have also realized that no matter how strong and independent I may feel and look, no matter my age, I still need my parents and their presence.
I'm all set to leave home for home. As adulting hits me, it feels great to have two wonderful homes.
By the way, if payday falls on a weekend, I do groceries, meet my nephew, and share good food and conversation before heading straight home. Thus, having a more active and productive day!
This is all for 's topic for this weekend. Be safe everyone! Until the netswriting.
