Every day at any of South East Queensland's beaches are great! These couple of quick snaps were from North Kirra beach on the gold Coast about an hours drive south from Brisbane, that is if you get up early enough the beat the traffic. We had just finished one of the local parkruns and were having a quick swim afterwards to cool off yesterday.
For me it just does not get any better. The salt water is so revitalizing and refreshing. I suppose we are very lucky the water seems so clear and clean so close to a major Australia City. A cold fresh water shower at the beach entrance afterwards is nice too. It all brings back such good positive trigger. We used to holiday up here as a family when I was a child, trying to escape the cold Victorian winters. Eventually my parents retired up here and I ended up following them.
We used to spend all day on the beach as young Victorians, covered in sun screen but nowadays it is a lot shorter amount of time but still as enjoying.
Basically to sum it all up I just cant get enough of the beach and would love to live even closer but unfortunately just about everyone else has the same idea and real estate prices are sky high.
