Greetings to you all!
Today I want to share with you every detail of my weekend which I found to be very fun.
So , my weekend started on Friday as I had only one lecture from 7am to 8am. I had a lot of plans for the day but I couldn’t achieve any as I was very sick. I was in bed all day since I couldn’t do anything in my condition.

We arrived at the hostel only to realize it was a surprise! 
We had some time to catch up and prepared for the next day as I had a lot to do.
Saturday
On Saturday I woke up very early to do my laundry. Because of a scheduled event I had with my association, I tried to finish my laundry but time wasn’t on my side. So I left it and went for the function.
It’s a new academic year and the association needs new members. It also happened to be the matriculation day for the level 100s so we went to the auditorium in an attempt to recruit new people.
We split ourselves into groups of two to be able to reach out to more people. The place was occupied with a a lot of people, some waiting for their friends so they can leave and others also taking their matriculation pictures.
After hours of interacting with different people, we finally decided to call it a day. We were able to convince a lot of people to join us in making a positive impact on the planet. We took their contacts so we can reach out to them and also make them a part of us.

I made my way back home to finish up my chore and clean up. I slept for a while and woke up later to prepare for a program that was being organized on campus by

The program was to start at 8pm but I didn’t know what to wear and also the fun starts after 10pm.
We ended up leaving around 10:30 and arrived after 11pm

The program had already started when we arrived so we found our way into the crowd. I was surprised by the turn out because students here are mostly about book and just the few people are present for events like this.
People were dancing and having fun. The environment was very lively. I realized there was a date rush going on so I went to observe. Here, a number of ladies are presented with a gentleman and upon asking him a few questions they are supposed to decide if they will like to go on a date with him or not.
At the end of the show, the guy ended up with a date for the night.
After the date rush, there was a music show where we had a musician from our campus showcasing his songs.
The crowd cheered him up as he did his thing. I didn’t know how to sing any of his songs so I just watched.

Our party was cut short by our Dean of students. Can you imagine? He said it was too late so we should end and go home. 12am was late for university students? I never knew.
Most people got pissed and started to leave . Slowly the place became empty.
Who would have thought 
So, that was how we all left to our various homes. I had a lot of fun even though I didn’t go early.
Sunday
I was very exhausted from the previous night’s party so I woke up very late.
I prepared breakfast and went back to bed again. Surprise right?
I ended up waking up after 2pm because I saw in my dreams I had a lot of assignments to complete.
I was feeling a bit down so I decided to watch a movie .
After an hour of watching a movie I started with my assignments which lasted almost the whole night.

At 12:30am we made our way back home.
I was so exhausted I went straight to bed.
I had a very good and fun weekend if we count out my sickness. I hope this week is much better for me, more fun and zero illness. Hope everyone else has good week.. Soft life is good and hopefully there’s more soft life incoming😁.
