Hello!
I believe that this weekend's reflection I will have to face it in reverse.
You will probably have understood from these first words that I have decided to follow the theme that talks about the rules of the various Hive communities.
I say that I will face it in reverse because I believe that rules are necessary in every civil society and, in general, in every community, this obviously also applies to the spaces here on Hive and, therefore, nothing can justify the contravention of these rules.
There are many communities and all with different rules therefore, if you don't like the rules of one, you can simply not join; even here you have the opportunity to create your own community so I believe that more freedom than that can hardly be found elsewhere; you have a choice, you have freedom, I think it's enough to respect a few simple rules, isn't it?
As far as the general rules of the Hive ecosystem are concerned, i believe that these are fundamental for pursuing the goals and objectives that we have all set ourselves here; in my opinion, certain rules are necessary to maintain the high quality of the various contents and to prevent them from being repeated; they also facilitate the coexistence of all users.
Let me give you a practical example: in my posts I usually write in multiple languages to make them usable by as many people as possible even if I post them on my reference community since the Italian part is certainly written better than the others as it is my mother tongue (I think always manages to write better in his own language, it's a matter of nuance); making a post and publishing it in different languages on different communities would be counterproductive for the system as it would lead to a series of repetitions which in the long run would bore the public and lead to having a series of practically identical posts.
Another example could be our fantastic weekend community, here as a rule you have to write exclusively in English and I adapt, certainly my posts would be better written in Italian, but it doesn't matter I prefer to look at all the positive sides such as, for example, I will improve the my English (which never hurts heh heh!), then I meet new people from different realities than mine who enrich me.
As for vilifying and ranting, I don't think that is justified in any situation.
Community admins are there to point out mistakes, fix them and take action if they don't, so they're just doing their assigned job and I don't think anyone deserves to take offense at it.
As far as the owner of the community is concerned, after all the name itself says it all... if he is the owner, after all he is the one who "commands", obviously I put commands in many quotation marks but come on, let's face it bluntly, it seems smart to contravene the rules of a place is then ranting about the owner? In no real-life situation would that have any good consequences, would it?
Moving away from Hive for a moment and moving into everyday life, we cannot fail to consider that successful people set themselves rules and always respect them, they are firm and loyal and for this reason they are able to pursue their goals; in every situation where the rules do not exist and anarchy is in force, the drift is in the end a foregone conclusion. I am a person who believes there is a balance between chaos and order and that everything must be balanced, we can allow ourselves an escape perhaps by disconnecting from everything and spending a weekend totally without rules (obviously without harming others and their freedoms); after the escape, however, it will be necessary to return to the rules that represent normality and are simply necessary.
Going back to our Hive ecosystem, no one says that we have to submit to unfair rules, but we are talking about fair rules, which are very simple to follow and which we can practically even choose ourselves, so I believe that the situation is optimal and the only thing we have to do is commit ourselves and of course have fun and the rest will follow.
I think that for today I can conclude, this reflection opens space for many other thoughts; moving on from Hive we can go further and think about the rules in the various everyday situations, about our behaviour... in short, there would be a lot to think about eh eh!
What I want to say, before saying goodbye, is that Hive is a great place, I really feel great here, I'm expanding my knowledge and I'm reading many interesting things, some of which are excerpts from people's lives which means knowing different thoughts and cultures.
Here too everything is not perfect, but in the end perfection is boring and then we must always think that we, the users, make up the community, so everything depends on our commitment and our approach. I'm sure Hive is worth all the effort you can put in, obviously it's something personal but I felt like sharing it; obviously everyone is free to think and behave as he wants, the important thing is to be aware that then it will also be necessary to bear the consequences, whether they are positive or negative.
Well, now we're really at Hello! Let me know what you think and what your ideas are, you know it's important to me.
Feel free to comment below and express your ideas.
I hug you!
P.S.
In the photos taken by me you can see a poem about marriage... because even in life together there are rules to respect and which allow you to live happily. The other is the book of Up's adventures (a gift from my wife) this one on Hive is a great adventure and often improvisation is required, however, having rules even in adventures and improvisation allows us to live them better and complete them, no?
