Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un cumpleaños muy especial para mí, el de mi hermanito que ya no es tan pequeño. Los que tienes hermanos, hijos, primos o cualquier niño a en su círculo familiar o de amistad, que haya visto crecer y al que le tenga mucho amor, saben que llega un momento que crecen tanto y ni siquiera nos damos cuenta, no sabemos en qué momento han dejado de ser esos pequeños niños, para convertirse en adolescentes o adultos! Y esto es justo lo que me ha pasado a mi con mi hermano.

Today I want to share with you a very special birthday for me, that of my little brother who is not so little anymore. Those of you who have siblings, children, cousins or any child to in your family or friendship circle, that you have seen grow up and to whom you have a lot of love, you know that there comes a time when they grow up so much and we don't even realize, we don't know at what point they have stopped being those little kids, to become teenagers or adults! And this is exactly what has happened to me with my brother.
El día Sábado 22 de Enero, fue el cumpleaños número 14 de mi hermano y decidimos hacer una pequeña e íntima celebración. Nuestra mamá que en estos momentos se encuentra en otro país me pidió que como regalo de su parte, mandara a hacer una torta muy hermosa y deliciosa con mi mejor amigos que es pastelero, así que unos días antes del cumpleaños fui a su casa para encargarle el pedido y elegir un modelo muy bonito. Realmente el resultado fue esperado porque llegado el día del cumpleaños la torta estuvo lista temprano y quedó exactamente como la habías pensado.
On Saturday January 22, it was my brother's 14th birthday and we decided to make a small and intimate celebration. Our mom, who is currently in another country, asked me to make a very beautiful and delicious cake with my best friend who is a pastry chef, so a few days before the birthday I went to his house to place the order and choose a very nice model. The result was really expected because on the day of the birthday the cake was ready early and it was exactly as you had thought it would be.
Ese día, durante la mañana, mi mamá decidió que debíamos contarle a mi hermano sobre la torta que tenía para él y así el podría invitar a sus amigos a qué compartieran con él esa noche. También invitamos a algunos familiares más cercanos y 3 de mis amigos que formaron parte de esta sorpresa ya no tan sorpresa jajaja!
That day, during the morning, my mom decided that we should tell my brother about the cake she had for him so he could invite his friends to share it with him that night. We also invited some of my closest family members and 3 of my friends who were part of this not-so-surprise anymore hahaha!
A mi hermano no le gustan mucho las fiestas de cumpleaños grandes o extravagantes, le gusta más lo sencillo e íntimo así que decidimos que solo sería una torta, algunos aperitivos y refrescos. Ya en la noche, fueron llegando los invitados de mi hermano y algunos familiares entre los cuales estuvieron nuestros a abuelos y tíos. Mi hermano se sentó con sus amigos y el resto de invitados estábamos distribuidos en el porche de la casa conversando.
My brother doesn't really like big or extravagant birthday parties, he likes simple and intimate so we decided it would just be a cake, some appetizers and refreshments. As the evening progressed, my brother's guests and some family members arrived, including our grandparents and aunts and uncles. My brother sat with his friends and the rest of the guests were spread out on the porch of the house talking.
Tomé muchas fotos porque quería mantener de esta forma, presente a nuestra madre que siempre estuvo al tanto de todo, para que no se perdiera de ningún detalle. También porque así podrían quedar para el recuerdo de este detalle tan bonito que entre muchas personas queridas pudimos llevar a cabo. La noche transcurrió de maravilla y mi hermano estuvo muy feliz porque si que le encanta estar con sus amigos.
I took many photos because I wanted to keep our mother, who was always aware of everything, present so that she would not miss any detail. Also because this way they could remain for the memory of this beautiful detail that we were able to carry out among many loved ones. The evening went wonderfully and my brother was very happy because he loves to be with his friends.
Ya casi para las 11 de la noche, mi hermano quiso que cantaramos cumpleaños, no para terminar la fiesta sino porque estaba ansioso por probar la torta jajajaja, así que a petición del cumpleañero, cantamos cumpleaños. Algunas personas se fueron porque ya era algo tarde pero los amigos invitados de mi hermano si estuvieron otro rato más disfrutando junto a él. La pequeña celebración fue todo un éxito y mi hermanito estuvo muy feliz. 🥳
By almost 11 pm, my brother wanted us to sing birthday, not to end the party but because he was anxious to taste the cake hahahaha, so at the request of the birthday boy, we sang birthday. Some people left because it was already a little late but my brother's invited friends were there for another while enjoying with him. The little celebration was a success and my little brother was very happy.🥳
