Traveling has introduced me to a diverse range of people, some of whom have become dear friends. Amidst encounters with both rude and kind travelers, I've learned the value of showing love to strangers and offering help when needed. Well, that is not what this post is about.
Today, I want to share with you the three elements of life that are most important to me which are: growth, love, and connection. These three elements mean a lot to me, I have learned so much about them and felt them in the past few years.
Growth is a journey, and I look up to it as a very important aspect of my life. We learn and unlearn as we grow, and our eyes are open to more understanding as we move from one stage to another.
In the process of growth what is more important to me is the things I have done before bidding farewell to a certain stage. Towards the end of every year, I reflect on the 12 months, the things that happened, and how I managed them. During this time I will write down my mistakes, the things I couldn't achieve, and people I must have offended and make it a point to apologize and make amends.
Not only the negative parts I also count my successes, and what I have learned and celebrate them. This way I could happily begin the new year with a new spirit, determined to live it right to the best of my ability.
Connection is the bond we share with others. Meaningful connections can be found in various relationships, such as friendships, family, and romantic partnerships.
As I'm growing up, I strive to connect well with the people around me, aside from the fact that he/she may be of help to me in the future, it gives me joy and a sense of belonging. When I connect with others, I feel understood, valued, and accepted for who I am and this aids my growth process.
I found the usefulness of connection during my matriculation day. I'd socialized with all my course mates but later I realized that everybody has friends they stick up to, play with, and take personal photographs with. I felt the need to have a friend too because I was like a third wheel to this group. I felt lonely even when there were people everywhere. It was awkward until my family arrived.
Love is my most powerful element of life, and it is hard to see someone love properly. It's either for material things or a love with personal motives.
I value love so much and I make it a necessity to love and show it to the people I love.
With love, we can achieve a lot. Loving someone helps us see beyond the person's flaws and instead appreciate the good attributes the person is made of. This brings peace to me because we are constantly happy and grateful. Love helps us exude confidence, to know we are valued, protected, cared for, and held very dear and important.
Love is like a cup of coffee, it can warm our hearts and give us a boost of happiness. Love matters to me so much, mentally and physically it energizes me.
These are the three elements of life that are most important to me. Feel free to share yours🤗.
That is all for today friends, until we read again.❣️
Have a beautiful Sunday.
