Anyways let's back to the topic of the weekend engagement.
I have always had a passion for sewing clothes because I grew up with only my mother and she loves to sew cloth.
My mother doesn't allow a piece of cloth to go to waste even when they are old, she does great work with rebranding and she makes them new for use again.
Growing up to see all that makes me want to know how to sew clothes for myself and my kids.
I remembered one day when I was still in primary school, my uniform got damaged because I sat on a chair that has nails.
When I got home, I quickly took a needle and thread to sew it because my mom must not see it but before I could finish it up she caught me and asked me to put it on the machine so that she can sew it for me.
At first, I thought she will beat me up but she didn't instead she asked me to learn how to sew cloth so that anytime such a thing happens I will be able to do the needful on my cloth, I sat down beside her looking at how she sew the cloth for me and since then I wished to know sewing but I never took her teaching seriously.
I mend clothes even though I can't use a machine for it but with needle and thread, I can amend some certain cloth.
When I was in secondary school, I do resize my uniform with needle and thread but I couldn't sew with a machine because I was very busy and I couldn't learn how to make use of the machine.
I love sewing cloth so much because I don't like throwing cloth away so whenever I have old clothes I will buy new materials and join them to the old ones to make them new again instead of throwing them out but there are some materials that you can't rebrand because they must have gotten really bad.
I would have loved to know how to sew with a machine because I love handwork so much and that is the most reason why I learned how to make hair, sewing clothes with a machine is the next thing I am planning to learn because I would love to sew cloth for my children when I finally become a mother.
So let's just say I want to learn how to sew for me and my unborn children because as a woman I should know how to do certain things and sewing cloth is one of them.
