My thought for this weekend's adventure was to venture out and look at Halloween decoration exhibits on our neighbor's yards. Let's take Ms. Mabel, our daughter, and have a small adventure looking and some folk's October 31st preparations and (maybe) rip them off for our own yard decorations in the future.
Up first was a trio of witches...bewitched, as they day...
We then moved on to a fantastic gravesite of ghosties and tombstones...
Up next was the house of spiders...
Then came the another orange and black spider...
So far so good...Hattie was enjoying the show thus far.
Is that Ms. Mabel in the background..well yes you are correct. She was very concerned with the October winds during this adventure. Then we came upon this mural on a local business wall:
I liked the Frankenstein, Hattie was more about the pumpkins...
Then we got to the real stuff; the real hardcore Halloween decorations: first up was this one:
Lots of spiders again, and lots of webs. The we found this lone ghost...
And then Ms. Mabel wanted to wanted to leave her mark on the neighbor:
Next up was a great dragon display...with lots of skeletons and even a chute for COVID trick or treat disbursement:
And then there was this one:
Lots of blood, skeletons, and white sheets everywhere. This lawn exhibit evolves by the year.
Lots of fun had, and we finally took in the October for all it's worth...I really hope #Hive is around in 20 years for Hattie to see these adventures:
Hey look, it's me! Love you Hattie (if you see this in 20 years...)
That's this past weekend's adventure; looking forward to sharing our next one next week. Thank you to everyone who took the time to give this a read!
