I might have found the worst song that was ever made though its not something that I heard on a radio or Spotify. It was on an anime with the title of Carole & Tuesday which takes me back to 2019. To give a little background about the show, the anime was set on a terraformed Mars were we have this girl named Tuesday runs away from her family and met this other girl named Carole which is an orphan refugee from Earth. Together, they entered this prestigious singing competition and have to compete with lots of talented people. The anime was mostly focused on singing but depending on their political disposition, they might get offended cause it also includes topics about refugees and immigration but that was it about the anime and now I will talk about the song.
As I told, there was a singing competition that was held on the show and among those finalist were a group of four men that called selves as Mermaid Sisters that looks exactly alike. 3 of them, wears female attires while for some reason the other one only wears a pants which is odd since they called their group as sisters but not much background was explained so I'm just gonna leave it at that. The title of their song was Galactic Mermaid which at first, you would think that the song could be about sea or the universe but its nowhere near that. It was an Acapella sung on a female voice, only accompanied by the sisters snapping fingers which makes it fairly refreshing since most of the contestants either brought instruments to play or minus one for their song which give me a good impression at first along with their dance choreography. However, as soon as the words have come on their mouth, I almost choked my self since I was eating during the time that I watched it.
The lyrics were just a series of phrase a person would probably speak or heard on a daily basis whenever they feel pissed but would not want to say it in front of children though in the premise of the anime, it was broadcast all over Earth and Mars and there was even children on the live audience. Everyone including myself could also come up with the same lyrics. Its just no one does until this song given how awful it is. In fact, the lyrics could be what's inside my head wherever I was stuck in a traffic but in a melodic way and which I should have gotten myself a picture to use in this post and to make the song vague but I guess I need to compromise with my drawing and have my thumbnail as a huge spoiler.
Either way, here is the Link of the song in the anime which only lasted for 40 seconds which I highly recommend to see the Mermaid Sisters in action together with the reaction of the judges and audience while here is the Full Version of the song which was later released after the anime.
And that was it for the worst song that I have listen to lyric wise but still does not find any reason to hate it. Thank you and see you on my next post!
