It was a bright Saturday morning when we decided to go for another travel adventure. Not knowing where to go, we just pack our things and bring necessary things for outdoors and explorations. We wanted to unwind and relax for a while but no plans or any booked rooms ahead. We just bring our tents with us so we can relax wherever we want to drop by near beaches somewhere.
The week before this travel, I explained to my friend that I wanted to relax somewhere near the beach but because of hectic schedules and busy days, no rooms were booked or no itinerary plans presented. So we were just driving with our motorcycle and trying to traverse San Remigio, Cebu.
As we were talking on our way, my friend explained that we should go to Tabuelan, Cebu instead because there are a lot of public beaches where we can set up our tent and enjoy the rest of the night. So, instead of San Remigio, Cebu, we diverge down to the Municipality of Tabuelan.
It's a timely unexpected travel for we aren't done yet exploring and discovering the place. Though we are situated nearer to the place, we never had the chance to uncover its beauty and show to the world what the place could offer.
As we were traversing the shortcut road going to Tabuelan, we had the chance to see this array of beautiful Mahogany plants. I asked my friend to take a photo of me to this wonderful place. I was mesmerized by the pile of man-made forests just behind us. It was so refreshing! I can see that other passers made great pictures. You can rest for a while here and have great talks during the daytime but I would not suggest anyone stop here during nighttime time for fewer people are living in the area and there is no lighting on the road.
Moving on, we decided to stop by their public market because we were so hungry by that time. We decided to have our lunch at the restaurant and made a walk at their public plaza.
You can see the "TABUELAN" signage on their plaza. It was so hot but I enjoyed roaming around the place and taking great pictures of what the place could offer to us.
As I was checking near the signage, you can see that there's a monument at the back. Looking closely at the monument, he was "TITI CASI", a significant person in the municipality for being a responsible person who transformed the Municipality of Tabuelan from being a sleeping town into a progressive municipality. Because of his legacies such as the establishment of the municipal building, the municipal wharf, the multi-million water system, electrification projects, and the opening of roads to the different barangays, thus he was always remembered by the people of the place.
The public plaza is also a place for relaxation. On the edge, you can see that they offer bleachers for family outings and friends who will pass by and sit for a while.
While talking with your family and friends, you can see a wide river where a lot of mangrove plants are planted. This only shows how responsible the community here making efforts to maintain balance in the environment.
If you are bringing your kids with you, a wide space with green grasses around is waiting for them to hang out. For sure they will be happy seeing these beautiful things around them.
As we explored the place, we landed at one of the public beaches in Tabuelan - Maravilla White Beach. It was not so far from our first stop. We decided to stop here because we were allowed to set up our tent and pay for overnight rent. Though it was not as planned yet we decided to have an overnight here so that we can minimize the budget. We also see that some of the beachgoers were planning to set up their tents during the night.
We are allowed to set up our tents at 6 in the evening onwards. While waiting for the time, we decided to explore its white sand beach and take great photos.
The place offers a fine white sand. You can see that people here maintain its cleanliness. While roaming around, we can see a lot of people swimming and hanging around the place.
Table rentals are also available in the place. Those who are planning to have a day use only can visit the place and rent tables and chairs for only Php300.00 or 5.42 USD for a day use. If you want an overnight stay, there are rooms and cottages available near the beach at a lesser price.
I can see that it's a pet-friendly place. I can see dogs everywhere who are just sleeping near the beach. They enjoy the soft sands touching their skin. And while having a great time exploring, I can see this cute creature on the sand, moving towards the sea.
On the other end of the shore, I can see these coconut trees which give shade to everyone who wishes to hang out in the place. This also reminds me of the mystic island of Siquijor where they have these coconut trees near Paliton Beach and its being used for picture taking of the tourists.
During the sunset, it was one of my favorite pastimes to sit near the beach and watch the sunset and lights slowly fading away. Walking near the beach and making my feet wet is one of the best happy moments that I will ever have when going to the beach. This is my happy pill!
Indeed, life is full of wonder! You will not know where it will take you every moment. Be grateful for the opportunities that it shows to us because you will never know when will be our time here. Spend your time wisely, explore different places, and don't forget to enjoy.
That's all for today's post my dear friends. I hope you enjoy reading my blog.
Have a nice day everyone😊
