Happy day to all Hiveans!
For some, weekends are meant to take a break , while some of them have a schedule or so called task that can be completed, only during Saturdays or Sundays.

My weekend experiences had its own ups and downs. I was happy because throughout all sundays from the last month until last week, were busy attending marriages, but equally sad to hear the demise of my sweet neighbour in her 80's.
Weekend becomes more lively either with the arrival of my son or daughter from their hostel. So this time my daughter was in, with a big list of purchases to be met.
So Saturday morning after the usual household chores, we left around 9a.m by our transport bus . It was cloudy but a pleasant weather to travel and do shopping.
The transport bus stand where we regularly take bus for long travel
On reaching we found the Mall to be crowded. In order to make it fast, we split in two directions and did the purchase. It just took half an hour to complete our task. Finally we reached the cash section. To our surprise there was a long que waiting to pay. The staffs were too efficient due to which we could leave early.
The que was moving fast from the cash section
Sunday was the big day. My relatives daughter was getting married. The stage was decorated beautifully finding it difficult to take off my eyes. The bride dressed in wedding attire was brought into the auditorium from the back door, surrounded by a group of dancers, dancing to the music tunes. The bride and groom made a good pair for eachother.

Finally ended with the fooding. Sorry the serving was slow, so I did not have the patience to wait
After a heavy lunch followed by fruit salad and ice cream, everyone took to leave. The auditorium became empty leaving the bride and groom alone with their relatives.
We reached home around 2.30 p.m. Before the call for prayer came in from mosque, came the death announcement of the aged neighbour. It came as a total shock for all of us. Though she was old ,she was healthy. When enquired the reason for sudden death, we were told it was a stroke.
That night we were awake until late hours. And most of our neighborhood kept their gates open, for the cars and other vehicles to park, as mourners were pouring in. The following day prayers were held for the good soul and the whole village community was present. After the ritual, a feast was arranged for all those arrived.
I really would like to wake up a little late on weekends, but the past few weekends are not promising, only concerns.
Thankyou for your visit. Any comments good or bad are welcome. These photos are captured from mine and my daughter's mobile.
