An unforgettable memory💖
I have many memories of my vacation, a week ago I arrived from my last trip, so it is fresh in my memory, great moments, but there is a special one that is attached to a photograph and that fits the concept of the weekend contest, of all the options presented to us this is my chosen one.
🔅Best holiday I ever had🔅
On this vacation I saw beautiful things, unforgettable landscapes, exotic animals and I met things I didn't know, I learned more about the environment and to value the most important thing in life, the moments with people, to know about the experiences they have of their achievements and their failures.
My vacation was in the state of Delta Amacuro in Venezuela, there I visited several families of the Waraos ethnic group, the only surviving ethnic group in this area of the country, their houses called palafitos are composed mainly of wooden bases and floors and a roof made of palm, these houses have no walls or spaces that separate them, it is as if they lived in the open, they sleep in hammocks. They are large families, mostly children.
That day we were the whole group of tourists more than 30 people visiting each family in their palafitos and a boy of about 4 years old looked at me and made a gesture of joy and surprise, it was as if he had seen someone known and loved by him, at that very moment I was looking at him and took a picture, he had in his hands a ball that he had been given, his gesture was so nice that I immediately bent down, lifted him in my arms and kissed him, while my fellow travelers laughed and told me that he was my lost son Warao and that he had recognized me.
I don't know what caught his attention, maybe it was the hat he was wearing, what is certain is that that little gesture stayed in my memory forever, I would like to see him again, but I know he will grow up and his face will change, so neither he nor I will meet again and if we do I doubt we will recognize each other.
I did not ask him his name because he would not understand me, his language is an indigenous language and I am bad at remembering names.
From that moment I have the photo I am showing today and the one my friends took of me when I hugged and kissed him. He had such a happy face that my heart rejoiced, it was something so special that I don't know how to explain. That moment made this vacation the best I have ever had.
