This post is my exclusive weekend activity
Today i.e 15-Aug, India is celebrating its 75 Years of Independence day. On this very day, India got indepedent from the British rule and since then it was no looking back. In Today's time, India is representing itself as one of the strong power in the world forum, with each of the super power cou tries knew and understand the mettle of India.
To mark this special ocassion, Indian government as asked its citizen to make a grand celebration by hoisting Indian flags at every home in the country and every Indian were quite enthusiastically taking part in all parts of India and so does me not left behind in my patriotism.
(before hoisting a little photoshoot on Saturday)
The flag seems to be a smaller size, to hoist in our home, we need a bigger one, so we again bought a bigger one which unfurl itself in the strong winds. We tied it on one of our home balcony. (it was done of Saturday)

To mark the 75 Years, every government offices , institutes , schools, colleges were celebrating the ocassion since 3rd Aug. But the main rush among the common citizen has started since the weekend as this is one the long weekend as Monday
(today) is a official public holiday. After the hoisting the flag at home, we went to our nearby bank of Ganges river where the team of NDRF team doing the same exercise of flag March on the river water. It was a good sight with each of the boat carrying Indian flags.
(boat flag March on Saturday)
This boating flag March allow me to enhance my skill on Drone flying. And we followed the NDRF team along the banks on our bike and whenever get a chance, we manage to shoot them.
(following the flag trail from a distance on saturday)
And when my drone battery drained out mid air, I need to ask for my nephew assistance. Who is a profession cinematographer and have good experince in Drone flying. He quickly assist and bring the flying down to the road to keep the little machine butterfly safe from drowning.
(Drone battery down getting assistance)
While we reached to end point the marching boats with a Indian flags unfurl on top, we get an unwanted visitor from the water.
(water snake coming out of Ganges)
I am not sure how dangerous it could be but yes other people out there were scared of it, untill the NDRF team quickly threw it back to water. It was a good experince of seeing a water snake from the flooded River Ganges.
In the mean time, our Drone shots were completed and after a long and hiatus run, manages to capture some fine shots. Which we compiled and editted into a nice clip. I uploaded the same yesterday. And in case interested to find out the final outcome may check out @3speak.tv. Here is the below link to it.

It was a weekend filled with patriotism and some nice experinces. What begins with Raksha Bandhan festival, the weekend ending todsy on a high note with Independence day celebration at many places. But being a part of 75 years celevrstion has gives me some nostalgic experiences.
Having born in a free nation is a blessing and everybody must respect this day and honor our national flag.
