Hello guys....
How are you all? I hope you are all well because I am too. Meet me again, I will tell you my story about my journey to find and visit a good cafe.
But this time, I didn't come to the cafe just to hang out or enjoy the coffee and food. This time, I wanted to learn how to make matcha properly from an expert.
This was my activity last week, participating in an event to learn how to make matcha and decorate cookies. It was an interesting event, and of course I'll be participating. This event was held by an organization that collaborates with a matcha cafe.
And of course, the event was held at the cafe, Nekoya Matcha, a cute name. The cafe is also comfortable and beautiful, with friendly service and a cool but warm atmosphere.
Moreover, for this event, the cafe had prepared everything I needed, so I didn't need to read anything else. And this time, the dress code had also been determined, which was green.

And as I said at the beginning, this Matcha-making course is taught by experts. It's taught clearly, in detail, and in a way that's easy to understand.
How to make
Weigh 4 grams of Matcha
Add 40 ml of water
Tap the top of the matcha using a chasen
There are three stages of stirring
Stage I: Stir quickly for 30 seconds, this is intended to produce thick foam
Stage II: Stir slowly for 20 seconds, serves to flatten
Stage III: Stir by lifting the chasen slightly so that it is above the surface of the matcha for 10 seconds
Prepare ice cubes
Put milk into a cup containing ice cubes
Pour matcha
It is recommended to pour matcha on top of the ice cubes to produce a beautiful gradient color
Add matcha if you want it to taste sweeter
And the taste of this drink is very delicious, sweet, bitter, and savory, delicious. but the matcha is very strong, I'm a little worried about my stomach after drinking it. Ohh, the sweetness comes from the sugar, if you don't like drinks that are too sweet then you don't need to add sugar, because without sugar this drink is delicious. But because I prefer drinks with a sweet taste then I added sugar.
And the next event is to like cookies, the cookies that will be decorated are matcha cookies, that's why these cookies are green. Given two cookie doughs that can be decorated and shaped according to your taste. I made a cat and a paw, very cute, I also added some decorations that have been provided, such as pieces of white chocolate, sprinkles, choco chips, colored chocolate biscuits.
Learning new things is very fun, this is a fun weekend, especially after a tiring weekday because of work, so learning, playing is something that is really worth trying.
Thank you for reading my story this time, see you in my other stories, bye~
