Weekends are always for weddings and occasions. I have made researches and a couple of consistent observation of the weekends and I have come to conclusion that weekends are for weddings and occasions especially in the part of the country where I live in (Lagos Nigeria).
Due to the nature of the country and the busy nature of everyone, every seminar, occasions and wedding had been unconsciously forced to hold on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
Weekends are free days where a good number of persons doesn't go to work, so it is always easy to get a good number of those one needs in an occasion, seminar or wedding.
Most of the weddings, occasions and seminars I had attended had always fallen on weekends and it had become a norm to the extent that any one that falls within week days are mostly not to have a good turn-up.
On weddings I've come to realise that it seems to be the happiest day of the couples. It's usually a remarkable day in the life of both couples transcending from single-hood to married status.
A good number of weddings that I have attended had almost made me get married the next week, lol.
This year alone, I have attended a couple of weddings on weekends and they had been all sweet and amazing.
