Well Hello There Hivers!
Weekend vibes, well they always seem to be the best.
Mostly
Well it was mostly for me this past weekend. My old sis got married and is soon to start a new life with that someone special. I am really happy for her.
More than often weddings sound like dull affairs! Atleast that's what the Betty tells me. She made it clear that she doesn't want a wedding one day and I mean who can judge her for that? We are both introverts so having to be in crowds that are too big and crowds of people that you have no liking in can sometimes be... A bit much to say the least!
I do understand that she doesn't want a wedding and neither do I, but we can't not have a wedding if we are getting married, can we? It doesn't fully make sense, well it does but how do you spill the news? Just a simple "Oh we're married?" Or will we have to think more thoroughly about this whole endeavor? Either or it's still some ways off. 🤣

Weekend weddings in the month of December
It was a small event with only the closest family and friends gathering. Small it may have been but it was certainly a lot of fun! Less people, less bullshit ey? Or so they say!
Well I suppose it's official now, I gained a few extra family members! Not that I've ever spoken to any of them other than the brother-in-law but I am sure they will be "good" people. 🤣

I was the driver?
Yeah yeah it's only a little Ford but for some reason I was to be the bride's drive around. I was tasked with picking up the bride (My sister) at the photo shoot that was held a little bit earlier than the wedding itself and drive her to the where the venue was being held.
So the Saturday started off with a bang for myself, well for the Betty too. I woke early to go pick up some meat from my co-worker and had them packed into dinner size portions. Then we had to go home no doubt, the car wasn't going to wash itself. EErrrhhh I had to give it a thorough cleaning from top to bottom! And like that wasn't enough I had to give it a vacuum as well.
I think she came out looking pretty smaxhy if you ask me!
P.S it's fun driving in a clean vehicle.

My Old Man
I'm glad the old man came! He sure had a lot of crap talking to get off his chest! Behind him just above his shoulder to the right is the real Pops! In other words that's my dad and the old man in the photo is my grandfather!

The Sunday Sushi
So instead of going out to a sushi bar me and the Betty decided that we'd rather go buy a bunch of sushi (Far more than we could eat) and enjoying it cuddled up watching movies. I would say it was a lot better than the usual restaurant outings that we both didn't really enjoy because of the buzzing of people. As I said we are both introverts and don't have a fancy for people.
I messed up a little bit and threw in all the wasabi into my soy sauce. Well I still ate it all atleast wont waste no good sushi!
It was also my very first time eating sushi with chopsticks! Can you believe!

The Yellow Arum Lily
Well for me it's "Die geel varkoor" which directly translates to The yellow pigs ear"
Although they are abundant in a way, I myself haven't seen a yellow one! I've seen one as red as blood and more than often the silky white ones, but never yellow and the yellow had a black flower inside. I found that pretty interesting. I've seen a lot of things in nature that has both yellow and black combined. It's like nature has some sort of preference I suppose
I spotted this little fella in the corner of my granny's yard. Even she was shocked that it was still alive. 😄 I should have told the Betty to come fetch it she found a big liking in them.
Well folks that would be that. I didn't do much else than chill and be lazy over the weekend! Although I gotta say it felt like a productive weekend! I even went to work on Sunday morning. Heh I forgot about that already!
