On weekends, I usually have to work for a few hours. It's not related to my main job, but I have classes with some students on Teams. They're mostly people introduced by my Japanese friend, and it's a good way for me to earn extra money to make ends meet.
I can cancel it whenever I have to go somewhere, or when my students' schedules change. It's OK, though. It's only for one or at most four hours.
However, if I were to choose how I want my weekend to be, it'll be like this. :)
Instead of sleeping in, I want to wake up early and go for a walk by the beach to see the sunrise. I'm a homebody, but I love watching the sunrise. It makes me feel calm and hopeful.
I also want to eat delicious food with my family. It's more fun when the three of us (my parents and I) prepare our food together and, of course, enjoy it afterwards.
My parents, especially my mom, are good cooks! While I'm an amazing assistant, I'm also an equally amazing eater! So yummy food is a must-have in my ideal weekend.
I also want to do some fun activities with my family and our doggies, Max (Golden retriever) and Arashi (Toy poodle). We can play together, or watch some movies together... or sing karaoke at home!
Of course, I would also want to have some time alone. I want to catch up with some anime or perhaps paint something. Well, I can always insert these on my weekends, and even on my weekdays, but I'd love it if I had longer time to enjoy them.
If possible, I don't want to work on weekends. I sometimes work for 10 hours on weekdays, so I'm tired. But I can't do it for now. I need to earn money to pay the bills and survive. lol
I guess the last time I could take a day off was when our internet connection was down and when I got sick. hahaha Oh well... XD
Maybe someday, I can afford to work less... and perhaps, live my ideal weekend! :)
Anyway, I'm kind of good at arranging my schedule, so I could insert fun things in between my classes... and when the student is absent, the teacher will watch anime! It's my simple joy in life!
Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed my quick sketches, which I also did while waiting for my student. haha Time management is key! :D
