There is no such thing as a bad weather. First original plan was to go on a two-day hike, however as it was raining quite heavily only a day trip was enough.
At home, we prepared double layer of clothes that we are safe and not getting cold. We randomly throw everything we needed to have a small lunch outdoors in our waterproof backpack, which is very recommendable. After putting on big hiking boots, we put on also extra layer pf protection. The rain ponchos are pretty nice, but in the end we were nonetheless still totally wet. With positive and motivated energy, we started our small hike.
The woods with the whole spectrum of Autumn colors from yellow to red, wind and raindrops, falling leaves and the moving clouds through the trees was making us wonder through the forest here in the Alps.
On the way, we stopped under some big trees to warm ourselves with a cup of hot tea we prepared at home.
The path was leading us through the field where we had a brother view on the scenery. Now the raindrops started to get heavier and the protection was not sufficient anymore. Reaching the woods again, the colors looked even more intense, and it seemed like walking through a fairy land.
We've started to look around to find a place to make a lunch. We planned to build a small shelter, for that we took some ropes and a tarp. Unexpectedly, in the middle of the woods, we've found an abandoned stone house used for Shepard and animals in the past times. Shelter was not needed as this cabin was perfect for us. For the first time, we've tested the new pot. It's special because it's foldable and doesn't take much space in the luggage. Today we prepared a soup with vegetables and dal.
Some warm tea and chocolate followed before heading back home.
Reaching home, the weather at first started to get even more worse. Later in the evening it stopped, and the sky rewarded us with amazing sunset colors and cloud game.
