Hello friends, I hope that in celebrating the new year 2023, we will all be in good health and remain happy, forget about the gloomy past and be optimistic about the future that there is a better scenario from GOD for all of us. And now when I share my story I am far from my city. And I do that every end of December not only to celebrate the new year but also to enjoy my long end-of-semester holiday with my wife.
Usually every year from December 23 to January 2, that's where I start my holiday, because every year December 22 is my last day of work before the long holiday starts the next day. I always take independent tourist destinations without a guide, even if it's a foreign trip, for me now the sophistication of technology has made everything easier, including language differences which will not be a barrier at this time.
During Covid 19, on 4 December I only traveled domestically because there were several areas I wanted to visit and I also challenged myself whether I would be able to touring long distances like I am doing now. and you should know that my trip this year was the craziest trip I have ever done with my wife, covering a distance of 732 kilometers and riding a two-wheeled vehicle, we went out of North Sumatra province to West Sumatra Province. And to get to our destination we could only complete our journey for 2 days with an estimated time of 24 hours. Actually, if you use the Google Maps application, it only takes 15 hours, but because my body condition needs to rest so that I can stay focused on driving and fight sleepy eyes, then no one is chasing our time, we decided to rest a lot so that my body condition when we arrive A healthy destination city so that I can enjoy the moments before the New Year.
And during the 2 day trip we also had to change hotels twice to make mobility easier and of course once again to maintain our stamina. and after arriving at the destination city there was a feeling of satisfaction in my heart with my wife that apparently 'I CAN'. Sometimes things that we think are impossible, the people around us who always underestimate all our activities, make us a little unproductive and trapped in the shadow of failure, the result of which is not necessarily failure. And now I have proven a lot to myself that there is no such thing as failure before we dare to try and it turns out that failure is actually delayed success.
And my trip to the province of West Sumatra this year is a gift for myself at the end of 2023, and today I will move to the capital of West Sumatra to watch the festive fireworks to welcome the New Year 2024 there, hopefully when I go this afternoon to the capital In West Sumatra, there is no drama of rain there so I can take a walk first to enjoy the existing destinations while still riding my two wheels and enjoy a Saturday night alone with my wife in that city. before Sunday night I will move to the city square to see the fireworks and excitement that is there.
That's my end of 2023 celebration and plans for Sunday night with my wife out of town, what about you? What are your plans? Hopefully Sunday night is the beginning of your success. Greetings from Tomidiwirja. Indonesia
