Weekend getaway

It was a sunny Saturday in Accra Ghana, I decided to head out to the mountains which was outside Accra , approximately 45mins drive to the mountains, it did not feel like a long drive because of the road trip and sight seeing ,a trip I would like to have again.
I must say Ghana is a beautiful country filled with nature and of course amazing food , like banku which is my favorite meal. I headed out at 7am, straight to the Botanical garden In a place called “Aburi “ where I saw the
-Water fountain
-The first areroplane
-School of horticulture
-And the Ghanaian delicacy “Fufu and light soup.
My typical weekends in Ghana are usually clubbing and partying all night long but this time.i decided to do something different , some thing that I can enjoy with my daughter also so we both get to enjoy the fun together .
Botanical garden
This is Nature at it's peak , a beautiful sight to behold if you love nature you will love this, I did a few stop overs before walking a mile , got some grilled beef “kebab “ a bottle of chilled coke and spring water
And continued my journey
The food
I am big fan of banku but it wasn't available so I settled for fufu and light soup, I did not enjoy it but well it's all part of my adventurous life, I ended up leaving the bowl with food in it.
Next was the water fall jeez I love water so much.The water was extremely cold I couldn't stay in for so long but I enjoyed every second spent this was extremely relaxing for me walking in the park and enjoying nature.
This is a weekend I will love to repeat , an amazing weekend getaway
